Mid Valley Megamall, as middle as it may suggest, it is a commercial area situated right at the middle of Selangor. Going into Kuala Lumpur downtown, or coming in to Petaling Jaya, it is right at the middle.

Sorry for the unrelated first picture, I usually spend my off day morning at the park doing my power walk and pack my subway sandwich here. The home minister got her own agenda, me and the kids decided to make a drive to the Mid Valley city for a mall getaway visit.

If you're taking public transport, getting in and out is quite convenient. As the title suggest, it's Mid Valley, most if not every form of public transport can lead you here (ok. no airport here, but you can take a helicopter if you can afford it, they do have an helipad).

But if you're driving, my personal preference is Zone A for my regular parking spot. Reason for me to choose there, is because of the exits always lead to the federal highway, which can choose to go north or south.

And the other convenient being, entering the mall from the south court. That way, it less straight up to the golden screen cinemas. Many more eateries at this side of the mall including Nando's, Manhattan Fish Market, Plan B, to name a few.

If you are thinking why not take the elevator(like my home minister did), my experience told me I will have to hog Infront of the elevator door and pray that it's not full. Typical Malaysian mentality, they rather take "both ways" to avoid being left out. Eg, if you are now at 1st floor, and wish to go to 5th floor, you press both up and down button. Whichever way the elevator come first, you jump in and ride along. Or, you can be that good idiot like me, wait for the elevator came from ground floor and everytime the door opened, I will have to see the occupant give me that "cock blocker" stare before the elevator door shut Infront of my nose.

Stick to the escalator, it's only couple of floor. We will be there in very short time. Lo and behold, were at Carl's Jr. It's the first experience for the kids, and I don't often visit this restaurant as well.

If you want a comparison, a set of McDonald's meal is around 12, an Angus Burger meal is 29 😅 More comparison? a set of 4 burgers in BK at promo is 28. Now do you see how premium Carl's Jr is? Well, despite the high price tag, we Malaysians are bunch of numbnuts because we pay top dollar for fast food.

The reason of this restaurant looks less busy is due to us visiting at odd hour, it was around 2pm which is anything but lunch nor tea break. One of the advantage is, we can eat with peace of mind and not required to clash with other patrons who queuing up at the soft drink dispenser kiosk gulping down lemon tea to make sure cover the cost 🤣 oh yes, that's one of many reason why McDonald's started charging for refill since we like to order a small coke and sit there for 14 hours.

Another thing is, there's not many Carl's Jr here, therefore this become one of the rare breed kind of fast food. Bring a candle here, get a violinist and it's as good as fine dining candlelight brunch.

And the killer Angus burger is finally here. The kids took a bite and their eyes wide opened as if there's something wrong with the burger and shouted how is this beef! I know, the beef burger at McDonald's, what are they?

After the wonderful late lunch, home minister still not ready to meet us up. So we decided to take a walk at the mall to help with digest. If you're here to scan for pretty girls, trust me there's a ton of them. But if you're here trying to score a new girl friend, I think it's harder. So far I've seen many couple going out as a pair, who knows, I could be wrong.

Since I broke the boy's machine gun(yeah, I did broke it accidentally whilst I'm hand itchy playing with it. laugh all you want, I'm just a bigger boy with less hair), we went to the DIY shop and scout for a replacement.

By the time we are done with the price checker, it's about time to go for tea break. Off we went for a quick early dinner. How convenient 🤣 The shop is located at the lower ground floor, by the name of Don't Tell At Me. Don't ask me how, this is what the current trend looks and sounds like. It's not my turn to justify, or I will be seen as outdated.

Food is pretty darn pricy and calling this a waffle, it only size of half a palm. But it's sure delicious and good for converting to diabetic. Chocolaty pack of many other syrup. Waffle is crunchy and boba milk is very sweet despite "half sugar". Take a look at the "dark side". And by the time we finished the waffle, it's about time to leave and meet the home minister for dinner...

This is my second attempt to make a post. The first time, when I hit the send button, the whole app shutdown and left me with absolutely nothing after the app rebooted. I'm not putting a blame on anyone except for myself, that I did not backup. If you read the below reconstructed post a little rush, it's only normal because I'm trying to recreate of something I "spoke" from my previous mind.
