No one promise us life is going to be easy. Having a weekend doesn't mean one can really take a good rest, especially when you have a family with kids, living urban lifestyle.

Fortunately, there's nothing too serious a glass of lemonade couldn't settle. In the warm afternoon, after fetching kids from tuition, went to Uncle Don's for a "not so quick" lunch.

Restaurant located at the business hub, very near to my house. Probably 3km away. If there's no traffic jam, I think we can reach there in less than 5 minutes. But, this is Kuala Lumpur. So, we can all forget about the km and the minutes is going to be like at least half an hour in the traffic and another half an hour looking for parking spot.

Girl got a plate of luncheon meat fried rice, and I got myself a plate of chicken chop . In a country that eat a lot of spicy stuff, even the chips are seasoned with chili pepper powder.

image.png

Boy got a plate of fish and chips. It's funny, despite the chips is seasoned with chili pepper powder, but the boy said it's not spicy, whilst finishing his glass of lemon tea. I thought his spicy tolerance level is up to capsicums, but apparently he just choose which spiciness he likes. Next time, I'm gonna order spicy fried chicken and see if that can get him start training to eat spicy.

image.png

Home minister also got herself a plate of fried noodle. I tried some of it. It's spicy, but at the same time the herb they used made it very fragrant and savory.

image.png

Since it's a fairly heavy lunch, dinner were decidedly a bowl of porridge, so to keep it light. I know this is not going to work if I'm trying ot lose weight, but this is the kind of comfort food we Asian used to.

image.png

Home minister got a bowl of spicy sour rice noodle. It's a traditional dish we enjoyed, with various kind of spices into the already spicy soup. With the fermented shrimp paste, this bowl of noodle smells just like a fishing boat.

image.png

Since the porridge is already a light dinner, so I must have bent my mind a little and got myself some fish ball to go with my dinner.

image.png

Last but not least, I had to spoil my diet program with a bowl of caramel custard we packed from last week, during my home town visit. It's been a week, and I'm just afraid if it go spoil and I had to ditch it(probably spoiled now, but I couldn't tell the difference from the taste just yet, so let's assume it's safe to eat).

##22kill

22pushupchallenge almost came to an end. And this is the most dangerous point of time when I start to get confused, tiredness sets in and kill my shoulders. At times, I will think I already uploaded my video proof of work. Today(yesterday), is the exact kinda situation. I suddenly remember I still haven't do my workout and had to jump off from bed to get it record, edit, upload and finally to create this post.

Looking good bro. I'm not sure who loved that background music more, me or the neighbors. I certainly loved it and so did my subwoofer while those base drops were slamming me in the chest and rattling the walls. Good stuff.

The food looks amazing as always. I think my favs, as per the usual would be the rice ball, and that amazing looking lettuce topped soup the home minister chose.

I can see your strong pectoral ligaments which connect to your biceps. Soon they will be even more massive.

I have a collection of these free BGM ready to go with my video. But somehow I like the cheerful kindergarten music to go with my workout video more. I did not know I've selected this song, may be due to overly dizzy that time when I was compiling the video. LOL. I did not check back after the edit and sent it straight to 3speak editor and wrote a post about the day before I knock out.

I think I still have some mass beneath those fat. What left now is a strict diet couple of days in order to change my hormone so I can look better. As you know, I've gave enough excuse to myself to NOT doing that since my country offer the best looking and probably tasting food at attractive price.

Looks like Uncle Don has what a hungry family needs. That custard got my mouth watering, I haven't seen one in ages.

Thanks again for stopping by. That time I was actually having a conversation with @futuremind regarding food over here is "cheap" for american dollar. My plate of chicken chop with lemonade would cost around $4, but that 4 bucks is about 4 hours of labor here for an average income person's wage. Still a very friendly destination for most Western travelers, but it's definitely NOT as affordable for the locals. That meal set me back roughly $20.

As for the custard, we have those mostly in my hometown - Ipoh, a very heavy influenced town by the British. Despite I have several years of pastry work experience in a cafe, but I have never bothered to find out what are the difference between caramel custard and a creme brulee. Our shop doesn't make those because it's like every other coffee shop in my home town can make a crazily good custard, that will melt in your mouth and cause you a full 1 second of blackout kinda sensation, on every bite.
