The shortest DIY shit post

Whilst I'm not a usual DIY post guy, when I make one, there's a lot of photos and usually before I manage to fix up a post, either too much photo, too much description, and ended up I went fedup and quit posting. Or, uploading halfway, the app crashed, unable to take my 50000 words encyclopedia post.

This time around, it's Andrew's chair. This chair has a small history where it was abandoned by McDonald's. Trust me, we do have McDonald's outlet close shop here. We took it up, give it a good clean and use it for many years.

Until recently, the boy started complaining the chair bite his bum. I take a look at it and found the upholstery has dried and started fracturing. Body weight sit on it, the surface expand, but when you lift your butt, guess what the surface will do?

So, I bought the cheap fix for less than 10 bucks. It's an elastic stretchable seat cover, and it's universal fitment. I won't be worrying if my McDonald's seat was too big or too small since it's stretchable.

Most importantly is to open up the cover, lay it on the chair to find out the orientation, which side is for the back and which side is for the butt. By the look from here, can you see it actually looks like a very comfortable round neck tee? Are you thinking what am I thinking? Next time, there will be holes on the side for the arms, and to cut away the "bottom" so I can try to wear it 🤣

Once the layout is confirmed, turned it upside down and start putting on from the back. Make sure it's right and firmly stretch from top.

And finally, expend the bottom part and had it cover the seating area and there we have it. Cheap and cheerful fix. I remember I did the same fixed previously with another McDonald's chair that turning it into a very royal feel, unfortunately that one broken, so here we have another new project.
