Coffe Della Nonna − Coffe review [ENG-ESP]

Going out and having the opportunity to visit the different supermarkets that are in my city, is the best and are very fun experiences, beyond being able to make purchases for the house, I take advantage and review the shelves where the coffees are hung, by brand, size, prices that are for sale, I was impressed by the number of brands that are on the market. It really is a unique experience, so I share with you and bring you a review of another brand of coffee that I was able to buy and try.

Choosing a new brand of coffee is sometimes a little complicated, it is a risk that not all of us like to take because we do not know the quality that it may have, the flavor, where it is made and sometimes it turns out to be a combination of coffee with other ingredients, flavorings, sweeteners in order to give it a different presentation. In this opportunity I chose a coffee known as Café Della Nonna, a very strange name as Italian in spite of being elaborated in Venezuela, with a somewhat high cost, but as a coffee lover I wanted to try it.

Salir de paseo y tener la oportunidad de visitar los distintos supermercados que están en mi ciudad, es lo máximo y son experiencias muy divertidas, más allá de poder realizar las compras para la casa, aprovecho y reviso los estantes donde están colados los cafés, por marca, tamaño, precios que están para la venta, quede impresionado por la cantidad de marcas que hay en el mercado. Realmente es una experiencia única, así que les comparto y traigo una reseña de otra marca café que pude comprar y probar.

Escoger una nueva marca de café a veces resulta un poco complicado, es un riesgo que no a todos nos gusta tomar por el hecho de que no conocemos la calidad que pueda tener, el sabor, donde lo elaboran y a veces resulta ser una combinación de café con otros ingredientes, saborizantes, azucarados para así rendirlo y darle otra presentación. En esta oportunidad escogí un café conocido como Café Della Nonna, un nombre muy extraño como italiano a pesar de ser elaborado en Venezuela, con un costo algo elevado, pero como amante del café quise probarlo.

This coffee that I chose has a cost of 2 $, it weighs 100 grams, it is the smallest presentation and I am sure that with preparing two or three times coffee here at home it will be finished very quickly. What caught my attention is that it is made in Venezuela, in the state of Portuguesa, a coffee that was harvested, processed and packaged in Venezuelan lands. A company that is very well known and has very good reviews, as the person told me, sold me this coffee.

The packaging as I had told you is very striking and caught my attention from afar because of the different colors that the packaging contains, a purple color at the top and at the bottom a silver color, it looks very elegant and its respective logo of the coffee brand in the center. Another thing I liked is that on the back it has a series of specifications, instructions on how to prepare it for those who have never consumed it.

Este café que escogí tiene un costo de 2 $, tiene un peso 100 gramos, es la presentación más pequeña y estoy seguro de que con preparar dos o tres veces café aquí en la casa se acabara muy rápido. Lo que me llamo mucho la atención es que es elaborado en Venezuela, en el estado Portuguesa, un café que fue cosechado, procesado y empacado en tierras venezolanas. Una empresa que es muy reconocida y tiene muy buenas reseña, me lo comento la persona, me vendió este café.

El empaque como les había dicho es muy llamativo y llamo mi atención desde lejos por los diversos colores que contiene el empaque, un color morado en la parte de arriba y por la parte de abajo un color plateado, se ve muy elegante y su respectivo logo de la marca del café en el centro. Otras de las cosas que me gusto es que por la parte de atrás tiene una serie de especificaciones, instrucciones de cómo prepararlo para quienes nunca lo han consumido.

Now comes the best part of all, uncovering the packaging of this coffee. When I opened it, it was completely roasted and ground, so it is easier to prepare, a very dark brown color, a very rich smell. Immediately that peculiar smell of coffee started to hit me and I was already imagining that full cup of coffee to contemplate the afternoon around my whole family, everyone was happy and satisfied with my choice.

Ahora viene la mejor parte de todo, destapar el empaque de este café. Al abrirlo estaba totalmente tostado y molido, así es más fácil su preparación, un color marrón muy oscuro, un olor muy rico. De inmediato comenzó a pegar ese olor peculiar del café y ya me estaba imaginando esa taza de café full para sí contemplar la tarde alrededor de toda mi familia, todos estaban contentos y satisfecho por mi elección.

At home we have always made coffee in the traditional way and that is in a pot and cloth strainer, so I started to prepare our coffee, add a few tablespoons of it, some sugar and let it boil for about 10 to 15 minutes, when it began to stick that smell of coffee, it was ready.

Then I proceeded to strain it, very carefully, since it was very hot and a wrong move could turn it over and everything would be a disaster, I served it in the respective cups, this time my mom, my dad and I, were the first ones to try this coffee, because my brothers were not at home and they liked its flavor very much.

En casa siempre hemos realizado el café de la manera tradicional y es en una olla y colador de tela, así que puse a preparar nuestro café, agregue algunas cucharadas del mismo, unas de azúcar y lo deje que hirviera aproximadamente unos 10 a 15 minutos, en lo que comenzó a pegar ese olor a café, ya estaba listo.

Luego procedí a colarlo, con mucho cuidado, ya que estaba muy caliente y un mal movimiento se podía voltear y todo sería un desastre, serví en las respectivas tazas, esta vez mi mamá, mi papá y yo, fuimos los primeros en probar este café, porque mis hermanos no estaban en casa y les gustó mucho su sabor.

The Della Nonna coffee, I liked it very much, I'm glad I made a good choice when I bought it. Also, an incredible experience, a very pleasant taste and as always I make it with enough sugar as I like. This time it only came out to drink a single cup, there was no repetition and so I could save some for the course of the week and be able to drink other cups of this coffee.

El café Della Nonna, me gustó muchísimo, me alegro haber hecho una buena elección cuando lo compre. Además, una experiencia increíble, un sabor muy agradable y como siempre lo hago con bastante azúcar como a mí me gusta. Esta vez solo salió para tomarse una sola taza, no hubo repetición y así poder guardar un poco para el transcurso de la semana y poder tomarnos otras tazas de este café.
