La primera canción que Charlie y Lucas habían creado en la vieja sala del abuelo, cada mañana cuando revisaban la computadora, descubrían que las reproducciones seguían aumentando y lo mejor cientos de comentarios apoyando ese gran talento que ambos tenían. Charlie observaba la pantalla y le decía a Lucas —¿Te das cuenta? ¡Nuestra música está llegando a lugares que ni siquiera conocemos— Lucas seguía muy emocionado, ya que eran los mejores momentos de sus vidas, hasta que llegó un correo de un nombre desconocido!

Charlie abrió el mensaje y comenzó a leer en voz alta —Estimados Charlie y Lucas: Hemos escuchado su canción y estamos impresionados por su talento. Nos gustaría invitarlos a las oficinas de RisingStar para conversar sobre un gran proyecto musical.— palabras que fueron de gran impacto y los dos niños quedaron completamente inmóviles durante unos segundos, ya que nunca se imaginaron que Risingstar los tomaría en cuenta para un nuevo proyecto, sabiendo que existen millones de músicos en todo el mundo.

Charlie looked at the screen and said to Lucas, “Can you believe it? Our music is reaching places we don’t even know about.” Lucas was still very excited—these were the best moments of their lives—until an email arrived from an unknown sender!

Charlie opened the message and began to read aloud: “Dear Charlie and Lucas: We’ve listened to your song and are impressed by your talent. We’d like to invite you to the RisingStar offices to discuss a major music project.” These words had a huge impact, and the two boys froze for a few seconds—they’d never imagined that RisingStar would consider them for a new project, knowing that there are millions of musicians all over the world.

The two boys started jumping all over the house with excitement, and Charlie’s grandfather appeared and asked them, “What’s going on here?” Charlie showed him the letter, and his grandfather read every word slowly. When he finished, he said to them happily, “I knew this moment would come—your hard work, your friendship, and all the heart you put into that song have brought you this far.” Time was running out, so they began putting away the banjo and getting everything ready for the trip. They packed some clothes and checked the email again, which contained the address for the RisingStar offices.

A la mañana siguiente, para su sorpresa un auto ya los estaba esperando y el conductor abrió la puerta y dijo: —¿Charlie y Lucas? Vengo a llevarlos a la ciudad, lo están esperando en las oficinas de RisingStar.— ambos niños seguían sin palabras, ya que era un momento muy especial. Durante el viaje, Charlie observaba por la ventana mientras sujetaba con fuerza su banjo y Lucas le preguntó —¿Estás nervioso?— Charlie soltó una pequeña sonrisa y respondió —Un poco, pero también estoy emocionado, ya que siento que nuestra vida está a punto de cambiar para siempre— Lucas estaba de acuerdo con esas palabras y ambos estrecharon sus manos mientras el auto avanzaba.

The next morning, to their surprise, a car was already waiting for them. The driver opened the door and said, “Charlie and Lucas? I’m here to take you to the city—they’re waiting for you at the RisingStar offices.” Both boys were still speechless, as it was such a special moment. They got in right away, and their grandfather waved them off with these words: “Enjoy every second of this adventure! Never stop playing from the heart!” until finally the car began to move, leaving that town behind.

During the trip, Charlie looked out the window while clutching his banjo tightly, and Lucas asked him, “Are you nervous?” Charlie gave a small smile and replied, “A little, but I’m also excited—I feel like our lives are about to change forever.” Lucas agreed with those words, and the two clasped hands as the car drove on.

Horas después de viaje comenzaron a aparecer enormes edificios y en medio de ellos destacaba una moderna torre con un gigantesco letrero RISINGSTAR MUSIC STUDIOS. El auto se detuvo frente a la entrada, donde Charlie respiró y Lucas ajustó el estuche de su banjo sobre el hombro. Lo importante es que llegaron a tiempo y frente a ellos se encontraba la oportunidad con la que millones de jóvenes músicos soñaban. Bastaba con cruzar las puertas para descubrir si la canción que nació en una pequeña sala estaba destinada a convertirse en el inicio de una carrera musical extraordinaria.

After several hours of driving, huge buildings began to appear, and standing out among them was a modern tower with a gigantic sign reading RISINGSTAR MUSIC STUDIOS. The car pulled up in front of the entrance, where Charlie took a deep breath and Lucas adjusted his banjo case over his shoulder. The important thing was that they had arrived on time, and right in front of them lay the opportunity that millions of young musicians dreamed of. All they had to do was walk through the doors to find out if the song that was born in a small room was destined to become the start of an extraordinary musical career.
