José era un niño que tenía 10 años de edad, era hijo único y vivía en una casa muy lejos de la ciudad, su familia era de bajos recursos económicos, pero eran muy unidos y con lo que tenían vivían felices, eso nunca fue motivo para no estar alegre y tener sueños, no lo detuvo nunca. José tenía un deseo enorme, un sueño de poder celebra la navidad con su familia, lo mejor fue que jamás se dio por vencido hasta conseguirlo

José was a boy who was 10 years old, he was an only child and lived in a house very far from the city, his family was of low economic resources, but they were very close and with what they had they lived happily, that was never a reason to not being happy and having dreams never stopped him. José had a huge desire, a dream of being able to celebrate Christmas with his family, the best thing was that he never gave up until he got it

Era una noche muy fría y oscura, estaban sentados en una mesa su mamá, su papá y él, cerca de su chimenea, cenando un poco pan y leche caliente, ya que era lo único que tenían en ese momento para ellos eso era lo más rico que habían comido. Cuando terminaron de comer José les hizo una pregunta a sus padres:

—¿Mamá, papá, cuanto falta para la navidad?, ya que quiero trabajar y reunir dinero para comprar las cosas necesarias para pasar una noche feliz y celebrar una linda navidad

Los padres se quedaron sin palabras, sorprendidos, tristes y a la vez muy contentos y felices por esa increíble iniciativa que tenía José. No se imaginaron que siendo tan niño quisiera darles ese hermoso regalo. Hijo para navidad falta como un mes aproximadamente, tienes todo nuestro apoyo y verás que entre todos vamos a lograr tener esa noche tan maravillosa, José los abrazó muy fuerte y se fue a dormir.

The parents were speechless, surprised, sad and at the same time very happy and happy for this incredible initiative that José had. They did not imagine that being such a child he wanted to give them that beautiful gift. Son is about a month away for Christmas, you have all our support and you will see that together we are going to have that wonderful night, José hugged them very tightly and went to sleep.

Al día siguiente José se levantó muy temprano con mucho entusiasmo y felicidad, desayuno lo más rápido posible, estaba nervioso porque era la primera vez que tenía que salir de su casa y estar solo por unas cuantas horas, a pesar de eso tenía mucha fe de que todo iba a salir bien.

Su papá lo acompaño a una granja que quedaba a unos metros de su casa, cuando llegaron a ese lugar era muy bonito, grande con muchos animales, había muchas personas trabajando y los dueños los trataban bien. José al ver eso se asustó mucho y quiso rendirse.

—El papa le dijo hijo, relájate y no te asustes es tu primer día todo va a salir y vamos a celebrar nuestra navidad juntos.

José se calmó y respiro profundo y decidió quedarse, le hicieron algunas pruebas y preguntas, para observar qué tan pila era y así poderle darle algún trabajo, ya que era muy pequeño. Los dueños de la granja estaban asombrados por las ganas que tenis de trabajar y no entendían por qué, su papá estaba muy contento y orgulloso por su hijo.

The next day José got up very early with great enthusiasm and happiness, had breakfast as quickly as possible, he was nervous because it was the first time he had to leave his house and be alone for a few hours, despite that he had a lot of faith in that everything was going to be fine.

His father accompanied him to a farm that was a few meters from his house, when they arrived at that place it was very beautiful, large with many animals, there were many people working and the owners treated them well. When José saw that, he was very scared and wanted to give up.

—The pope told him son, relax and don't be scared, it's your first day, everything is going to come out and we are going to celebrate our Christmas together.

José calmed down and took a deep breath and decided to stay, they did some tests and questions, to see how good he was and so they could give him some work, since he was very small. The owners of the farm were amazed by the desire that you have to work and did not understand why, his father was very happy and proud for his son.

La mamá se quedó llorando en su casa, muy triste porque José había salido a buscar trabajo y pensando que le iba a suceder a su hijo, pero algo que el niño quería hacer poder celebrar su navidad. Su padre llegó a la casa contento y le comento donde iba a trabajar, quienes eran las personas y como era el pago. Le dijo que lo cuidarían. Así que se quedaron tranquilos y trabajando en sus cosas del día a día.

Cuando llego la tarde José regreso a su casa, muy cansado, pero contento, ya que tenía un bolívar en mano. La mamá salió corriendo a abrazarlo muy contenta y llorando por ese logro. Mientras que su padre estaba sorprendido. Pasaron toda la noche hablando sobre la experiencia en su primer día de trabajo. Era un niño feliz.

Pasaron los días y cada vez se acercaba más la navidad, ya a José lo conocía en el trabajo, era super amigo muy colaborador y le había aumentado su pago por su esfuerzo y dedicación, todos lo querían y admiraban mucho.

The mother stayed crying at home, very sad because José had gone out to look for work and thinking that it was going to happen to his son, but something that the boy wanted to do to be able to celebrate his Christmas. Her father came home happy and told him where he was going to work, who the people were and how the payment was. He told her that they would take care of him. So they stayed calm and worked on their day-to-day things.

When evening came, José returned to his house, very tired, but happy, since he had a bolivar in hand. The mother ran to hug him very happy and crying for that achievement. While his father was surprised. They spent the whole night talking about the experience on their first day on the job. He was a happy boy.

The days passed and Christmas was getting closer and closer, I already knew José at work, he was a very collaborative super friend and his payment had increased for his effort and dedication, everyone loved him and admired him a lot.

Un día, José se tropezó con el dueño de la granja, este estaba muy apenado y nervioso, ya que pensó que lo iban a regañar o decirle cualquier cosa, pero no fue así.

—Hijo, he viso tu avance desde que llegaste, cometiste errores, pero los superaste y quiero darte una recompensa por eso. Sé que has puesto mucho corazón a tu trabajo.

—José se quedó sin palabras y muy contento, le pregunto ¿Qué recompensas?

—El señor le respondió quiero darte un dinero extra, te parece?, ya que escuche que quieres comprar algunas cosas para navidad

José no paraba de llorar por esa gran noticia, que le acaban de dar, se fue corriendo a su casa para abrazar y contarles a sus padres, ya que le habían dado mucho dinero por su trabajo. Fue un momento de felicidad y alegría para esa familia.

One day, José bumped into the owner of the farm, he was very sorry and nervous, since he thought they were going to scold him or tell him anything, but it was not like that.

—Son, I have seen your progress since you arrived, you made mistakes, but you overcame them and I want to give you a reward for that." I know you have put a lot of heart into your work.

José would not stop crying because of that great news, which they just gave him, he ran to his house to hug and tell his parents, since they had given him a lot of money for his work. It was a moment of happiness and joy for that family.

Cuando llego el 24 de diciembre, José estaba muy contento, ya que había reunido en un pequeño envase el dinero suficiente para comprar las cosas que hacen falta celebrar una navidad increíble. Nunca se detuvo hasta conseguir este sueño tan increíble.

Su mamá, su papá y él, prepararon una deliciosa cena navideña, nunca se la habían imaginado, compraron regalos, se vistieron todos muy lindo y se sentaron en su mesa a celebrar. Se abrazaron y dieron las gracias entre todos, ya que con un granito de arena que pusieron juntos pudieron hacer su sueño realidad. José puede lograr cumplir su sueño darle este hermoso regalo a sus padres y celebrar su navidad.

When December 24th arrived, José was very happy, since he had collected enough money in a small container to buy the things that are needed to celebrate an incredible Christmas. He never stopped to get this amazing dream.

His mother, his father and he prepared a delicious Christmas dinner, they had never imagined it, bought gifts, all dressed very beautifully and sat at their table to celebrate. They hugged and thanked each other, because with a grain of sand that they put together they could make their dream come true. José can achieve his dream of giving this beautiful gift to his parents and celebrating his Christmas.

La moraleja de este cuento es que a pesar de la edad que uno tenga no dejemos de alcanzar nuestros sueños, no darnos por vencido y superarnos al máximo por lograr esas metas que te propongas. Siempre vas a contar con el apoyo de tus padres en los momentos buenos y no tan buenas.
