The failure of the coffee war

In the last century there were huge castles, kings, knights and above all wars and many conflicts, all in order to conquer new territories, be the bosses and have the authority, however, many were dedicated to defend and take care of their territory in order to be in peace and so that the new generations would not have problems and many of their children could conquer more space in the future. This was a war that caused a lot of impact and even very few know about it, since it took place outside the northern zone, perhaps some have heard about this war or have read writings, books where it is told what happened and are stored in libraries that exist in the world and many valuable items of the time that are preserved in museums.

During that war one of the main sources of income for the people came from coffee, so their kings and many soldiers could not allow the enemies to enter the territory where coffee was planted and cultivated, they said that they were large extensions of land, and if they invaded they thought that coffee could disappear. For this reason, during the war the soldiers and chiefs had to keep watch over all the extensions of land in order to prevent any army from invading. However, they were unable to fight the enemies, causing the burning and destruction of all the coffee plantations, since the other kingdom did not care about anything, they only wanted to conquer more territory.

Even if the war continued, no one could lower their guard or surrender, they put into practice many strategies to stop the war, avoid more deaths and protect their crops, however, they could not do anything, they lost everything they had and all the soldiers were captured to be slaves. They all cried because they had lost everything, while the others celebrated, the only thing they were able to keep were some coffee seeds. This new king who conquered the castle, land, imposed the law that no more coffee be planted and to be marked in history called this war as the War of the Beans.

Several years passed and many of these slaves died, others were able to obtain their freedom and left for other lands, only one of the young men who survived stayed in his land, which was called the king of coffee, because he never gave up and wanted to fight until he could plant again his coffee beans that he had kept for many years, it was his treasure. But to achieve this he had to fight and confront his enemies, start a new war that would change history, and he did not want to disappoint his father and all those who had died and always carry his name high. This new king little by little was creating his army, many obeyed him and had a lot of control of some nearby lands. All this to see how the coffee revived again.

When he left his land, he was followed by a line of horses in front with flags, behind him came thousands of soldiers singing and marching, both the king and his army left before the sun appeared. They planned to invade a very large piece of land, where many peasants lived, who had nothing to defend themselves. When they arrived at the chosen place they realized that they were separated by a large expanse of land, land that was swampy and they could not pass through because they would get stuck in the mud.

The king began to worry, since they could not find a way to pass and conquer that piece of land, so several days passed and the coffee seeds they brought with them began to be damaged, they did not know why, so they needed to plan something as quickly as possible, otherwise they would lose everything they had dreamed of. He started a war of arguments, fights, soldiers shooting, but still he could not move forward. The king spent several days trying to conquer and nothing he could, the peasants did not want to reach an agreement or give up their land. So the king had no choice but to leave, giving up and unable to plant coffee again.

The peasants, when they saw that the king was retiring, jumped with happiness, they embraced each other, since they could continue doing what they were most passionate about, which was the agriculture of other grains, especially beans, since they did not know what coffee was. So they never again had a war for their land and today no one knows of the existence of coffee. Many of the soldiers thought that with this war they could make coffee known and it would be a fact for history, however, the coffee war was a failure.

Hello friend @davidpena21, thank goodness that in the end this story is the result of a fiction I could not imagine my life without a good cup of coffee.

I can imagine how frustrated this king must have felt not being able to conquer the lands he wanted and even more to have fought so hard without any luck.

Greetings and thanks for sharing

Living without drinking coffee is crazy, however this king could not do anything. Thanks for the visit, greetings.

Gosh STB.jpg

So they never again had a war for their land and today no one knows of the existence of coffee.

Thank goodness there were no more wars, and also that this is all fiction:)

Hello friends @davidpena21, undoubtedly the time of the colony were times of maximum demand for humanity, at this time the foundations of the great cities were consolidated, unfortunately they were the cause of heavy losses and large amounts of blood spilled.

Entertaining reading that you share with us.

Greetings
