Toby, era el tigre más grande de la selva, era alegre, pero a diferencia de los demás le costaba tener amigos, siempre intentaba encajar con los demás animales de la inmensa selva donde él habitaba, pero lo rechazaban, nadie quería estar con él y eso para él era muy triste y no entendía por qué, nadie le decía ni una palabra. Así pasaban los días y Toby siempre andaba solo le costaba mucho relacionarse a pesar de que siempre tenía su mejor actitud, amable y dispuesto a conversar con los demás, pero todo les daban la espalda. Toby en lo que podía ayudaba a quien lo necesitara sin recibir nada a cambio.

Toby was the biggest tiger in the jungle, he was cheerful, but unlike the others it was hard for him to have friends, he always tried to fit in with the other animals of the immense jungle where he lived, but they rejected him, nobody wanted to be with him and that was very sad for him and he did not understand why, nobody would say a word to him. And so the days went by and Toby was always alone, it was hard for him to relate to others, even though he always had his best attitude, friendly and willing to talk to others, but they all turned their backs on him. Cada vez que se reunían los animales de la selva, Toby siempre le gustaba estar ahí de primero, nunca se perdía un encuentro de esos, ya que pensaba que era el momento justo y adecuado para conseguir amigos, con quien poder jugar, conversar, reír y pasar momentos agradables. Esa misma tarde decidió caminar por la selva y alejarse un poco para ver si encontraba amigos nuevos, amigos con quien compartir, además que fueran distintos a los que se encontraban a su alrededor. Mientras caminaba notaba como todos se reían y conversaban a sus espaldas y nunca lo involucraban, sin embargo, eso no lo detuvo a realizar su caminata.

Whenever the animals of the jungle gathered, Toby always liked to be there first, he never missed one of those meetings, because he thought it was the right time to make friends with whom he could play, talk, laugh and spend pleasant moments. That same afternoon he decided to walk through the jungle and get away a little to see if he could find new friends, friends to share with, friends who were different from those around him. As he walked he noticed how everyone laughed and talked behind his back and never involved him, but that didn't stop him from walking.

Pasaron varios días recorriendo la selva, sin poder conversar con nadie, sin contarle a alguien todo lo que estaba pasando durante esa travesía, lo único que veía era muchos árboles, inmensas rocas y no encontraban un animal que lo acompañara y que se fuera su nuevo amigo. Toby ya estaba cansado, agotado y no había podido comer bien, así que no le quedó más opción que regresarse a casa, destrozado porque no le había ido bien, pero pensaba que estarán haciendo los demás en mi ausencia. De repente se da cuenta una gran cantidad de animales reunidos alrededor de una gran fogata, todos cantaban y bailaban de felicidad, Toby no sabía que estaba pasando, así que se acercó con mucho cuidado para no llamar la atención. Todos se quedaron sorprendidos al ver el rostro de Toby.

They spent several days traveling through the jungle, without being able to talk to anyone, without telling anyone everything that was happening during this journey, the only thing he saw were many trees, huge rocks and they could not find an animal to accompany him and to be his new friend. Toby was already tired, exhausted and had not been able to eat well, so he had no choice but to return home, devastated because it had not gone well, but I thought what are the others doing in my absence. Suddenly he noticed a large number of animals gathered around a large bonfire, all singing and dancing with happiness, Toby did not know what was happening, so he approached very carefully so as not to attract attention. Everyone was surprised to see Toby's face.

Toby se quedó paralizado, no pudo hacer nada, nadie lo quería, así que se fue a su cueva a esconderse todo triste y decepcionado, se acostó a contemplar el cielo y las hermosas estrellas, desde allí podía escuchar el bochinche que hacían todos los animales. Por dentro estaba todo destruido, triste y solo sin tener a nadie.

Al día siguiente noto que un ratoncito se estaba comiendo los restos de su comida, lo dejo quieto sin molestarlo, lo único que hizo fue ofrecerle más comida. Sin embargo, el ratoncito estaba muy asustado en incluso pensó que ese era su final, pero en realidad no fue así. Toby y él pasaron varias horas conversando, lo trataba de una manera agradable, le explicó por qué sus ánimos estaban por el suelo porque no tenía un amigo. Los demás animales, al verlo acompañado por el ratoncito se burlaban de él, no paraban de echarle broma, así que el ratoncito se asustó y se fue.

Toby was paralyzed, he could not do anything, nobody wanted him, so he went to his cave to hide all sad and disappointed, he lay down to contemplate the sky and the beautiful stars, from there he could hear the noise that all the animals were making. Inside he was all destroyed, sad and alone with no one.

The next day he noticed that a little mouse was eating the remains of his food, he left it alone without bothering it, the only thing he did was to offer it more food. However, the little mouse was very scared and even thought that this was the end of him, but in reality it was not. He and Toby spent several hours talking, he treated him in a nice way, he explained to him why his spirits were down because he didn't have a friend. The other animals, seeing him accompanied by the little mouse made fun of him, they kept teasing him, so the little mouse got scared and left.

Toby estaba muy molesto de tantas burlas que recibía de los demás, en ese momento se paró de su cueva muy furioso y comenzó rugir y perseguir a todos esos animales para que se fueran y se alejaran de ese lugar, pero fue imposible que se fueran. Toby, el tigre, necesitaba estar tranquilo, ya no quería la presencia de animales falsos cerca de él, ya que no servían para nada, solo lo molestaban y se los advirtió por su bien. Muchos se asustaron por ser más pequeños que él, decidieron alejarse de ese lugar, pero dejaron a este tigre sin comida, sin agua, solamente con la compañía de las estrellas. Toby, pasó esa noche muy triste, llorando y se preguntó. ¿Cuándo tendré un amigo verdadero?.

Toby, the tiger, needed to be calm, he no longer wanted the presence of fake animals near him, since they were useless, they only bothered him and he warned them for his own good. Many were scared because they were smaller than him, they decided to move away from that place, but they left this tiger without food, without water, only with the company of the stars. Toby, spent that night very sad, crying and wondering. When will I ever have a real friend?

Pasaron varias noches y días de un gran soledad, hasta que nuevamente se apareció el ratoncito, y al verlo noto la cara de tristeza que tenía el tigre, decidió hacerle compañía, y lo mejor de todo fue que le dijo que fuera su amigo, ya que él también había pasado por lo mismo, por el hecho de ser el más pequeño de toda la selva, nunca tuve amigos. A partir de ese momento nació una relación de amistad, llena de mucho amor, confianza y cariño. Toby ahora ya no estaría solo, se ganó la confianza de un nuevo amigo, un ratoncito muy valiente y amigable.

Several nights and days of great loneliness passed, until the little mouse appeared again, and when he saw him he noticed the sad face that the tiger had, he decided to keep him company, and the best thing of all was that he told him to be his friend, since he had also gone through the same thing, for the fact of being the smallest of all the jungle, I never had friends. From that moment on, a relationship of friendship was born, full of love, trust and affection. Toby would no longer be alone, he gained the trust of a new friend, a very brave and friendly little mouse.
