Buenas tardes queridos amigos de Hive y de Hive Book Club, en esta oportunidad les quiero compartir mi reseña sobre un libro que desde el principio me causó mucha curiosidad, cuando vi el título me llamó mucho la atención, una literatura cristiana qué trata sobre los ídolos, pero mayormente pensamos que estos son figuras a las que adorar dejando a Dios a un lado, pero el título dice: “Ídolos del corazón” así que hay más ídolos que no conocemos y no vemos, pero están dentro de nosotros aún sin darnos cuenta.

➖Mi Reseña ➖

Este es un libro que te enseña en cada capítulo sobre todos los ídolos que tenemos en nuestras vidas, aún los cristianos más experimentados son atacados con estos ídolos. Los ídolos no son solamente imágenes, es todo lo que ponemos por delante de Dios en nuestras vidas: trabajo, casa, familia, actitudes, etc…, todas las Bendiciones que Dios nos da las podemos convertir en maldiciones si en nuestra escala de prioridades y de amor las colocamos por delante de Dios. En este libro la autora nos va narrando sus testimonios, cómo los reconoció y cómo ha luchado contra los ídolos que ha encontrado en su vida, colocando a nuestro Dios en primer lugar, donde siempre debe estar.

➖Mi opinión.➖

Este libro para mi es más bien un manual de cómo identificar y vencer nuestros ídolos, cada uno de nosotros lucha contra sus propios ídolos, a veces no nos damos cuenta pero están ahí, y es eso lo que no nos permite avanzar en nuestro camino, hace que nos quedemos estancados en nuestros pecados. Para mi fue un libro muy instructivo, una excelente narrativa pero que hay que leer poco a poco para ir analizando cada palabra y aplicarlas en nuestras vidas, además este libro contiene figuras donde la autora nos explica lo mejor que puede sus enseñanzas. Un libro que te abre el conocimiento de lo que sin los ídolos y cómo derrotarlos, aunque no es fácil porque muchos de ellos están muy arraigados en nosotros, pero hay que dar batalla para ser mejores personas, un paso más para convertirnos en la mejor versión de nosotros mismos.

Good afternoon dear friends of Hive and Hive Book Club, this time I want to share my review of a book that from the beginning caused me a lot of curiosity, when I saw the title it caught my attention, a Christian literature that deals with idols, but mostly we think that these are figures to worship leaving God aside, but the title says: “Idols of the heart” so there are more idols that we do not know and do not see, but are within us even without realizing it.

➖My Review➖

This is a book that teaches you in every chapter about all the idols we have in our lives, even the most experienced Christians are attacked with these idols. Idols are not only images, they are everything we put before God in our lives: work, home, family, attitudes, etc…, all the blessings that God gives us can become curses if we put them before God in our scale of priorities and love. In this book the author narrates her testimonies, how she recognized them and how she has fought against the idols she has found in her life, placing our God in the first place, where He should always be.

➖My opinion.➖

This book for me is more like a manual on how to identify and overcome our idols, each one of us fights against our own idols, sometimes we do not realice it but they are there, and that is what does not allow us to move forward in our path, it makes us stay stuck in our sins. For me it was a very instructive book, an excellent narrative but you have to read it little by little to analyze each word and apply them in our lives, also this book contains figures where the author explains her teachings as best she can. A book that opens the knowledge of what idols are and how to defeat them, although it is not easy because many of them are deeply rooted in us, but we must fight to be better people, one more step to become the best version of ourselves.
