Never allow a label to become your identity: Let excellence answer the label. #311

Good afternoon from my location, dear hivers in a ladies of hive community.
How have been your day so far?
Let me quickly raise this topic and talk about it a bit.

Yes, the world has labeled me different things like:
I am too slow,
I am not good enough,
I am from that family,
I am just a common teacher,
I am nothing...etc.

People love to put a name on me that is not my name.
They love to tell me who I am even when ty know nothing about me.
But let me tell you that a label is not your identity unless you accept it.

Some of us have accepted labels that people gave us in anger.
Some labels came from failure,
Some from one mistake,
Some from where we come from.
And we started living like that label is true.

Listen to me, I am not what they called me in their frustration.
I am not that one mistake at all.

I don't argue with the label.
I don't fight everybody who labelled me.
I just let excellence answer it for me.

I work so well that the label of yesterday does not fit me again.
And I am growing so much that the same mouth that labelled me will have to look for new words.
This time a positive word.

They said I cannot make it, sincerely I don't argue with them but rather I let my excellence answer them for me.

Sometimes, they said that I am lazy, truthfully I don't try defending myself and let excellence answer.

They said I will never be anything, I just smile and let excellence answer.

I stopped explaining myself and I Started improving myself.
Behold, my result is louder than my reply.

So today, I am telling myself and telling you, never allow a label to become your identity.
Let excellence do the talking for us.
