Although a lot has happened—I’ve been swamped with work and had kind of forgotten about the collection—today I’m sharing another new piece from this impressive alphabet: “The Unown Pokémon corresponding to the letter E”, in the form of a decorative quilling figure.

I’m sharing this image so you can get an idea of all the different Unown Pokémon that exist, and so you can follow along as I create them and see how similar they are:

Hace unos meses comencé una colección de Pokémon Unown, les mencione que cada uno ellos demarcan una letra del alfabeto y algunos símbolos, como tambien que están inspirados en signos antiguos y en la idea que el lenguaje tiene poder.

Aunque han pasado muchas cosas he estado saturada de trabajo y me había olvidado un poco de la colección, para hoy les dejo otra figura nueva de este impresionante alfabeto "El Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra E", en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.

Les dejo está imagen para que se hagan una idea de todos los distintos Pokémon Unown existentes y así le podrán hacer seguimiento al que voy elaborando y que tan semejante es:

• I started by making the base figure; all Pokémon Unown share this same base, which is their face, and from there I created different shapes and styles. Here’s a link to the first one I made so you can see the step-by-step process—I don’t see the point in repeating it in every post. • For the details on the Pokémon’s body, I took a 3-mm-wide strip of black tape, applied extra-strong white glue to it, and folded it several times to make the strip thicker and sturdier.

• Once the strips were completely dry, I cut 4 small ones and 2 slightly longer ones.

• Comencé haciendo la figura base, todos los Pokémon Unown tiene esta misma base que es su cara para seguir con formas y estilos diferentes. Les dejo el link del primero que hice para que vean el paso a paso, no le veo sentido repetirlo en todos los post, de igual manera les dejaré algunas imágenes en este post, pero pueden buscar la descripción del paso a paso en este link: Pokémon Unown "A".

• Para los detalles del cuerpo del Pokémon, procedí a tomar una cinta de color negro de 3 mm de ancho, a la cual le apliqué pega blanca extra fuerte e hice varios dobleces para hacer la tira más gruesa y resistente.

• Estando bien secas las tiras, recorté 4 pequeñas y 2 un poco más largas.

• As you can see in the picture, I arranged the pieces of ribbon to form my Unown E Pokémon—two large ones and two small ones to create a sort of “L” shape—for the top and bottom parts.

• For the right and left sides, I used two small pieces.

• I glued all the pieces of my Pokémon together and waited for them to dry thoroughly.

• Using scissors, I rounded the edges of the Pokémon’s body pieces.

• Finally, I applied a layer of extra-strong white glue to protect and seal the Pokémon.

This is how I finished this Unown Pokémon, which corresponds to the letter “E” of the alphabet, in the form of a decorative quilling figure.

• Cómo pueden observar en la imagen cuadre los trozos de cintas para poder formar mi Pokémon Unown E, dos grandes y dos pequeños para formar una especie de L, esto para la parte de arriba y para la parte de abajo.

• Para el lado de la derecha y de la izquierda utilicé dos pequeños.

• Pegué todas las piezas de mi Pokémon y espere que secara muy bien.

• Con una tijera redondeo los bordes de las piezas del cuerpo del Pokémon.

• Para finalizar aplique una capa de pega blanca extra fuerte, para proteger y plastificar el Pokémon.

De esta manera finalice este Pokémon Unown que corresponde a la letra "E" del alfabeto, en forma de una figura decorativa en la técnica de quilling.
