Delicious scrambled egg with ham served with arepas (Esp/Eng)

• Lo primero que hago es lavar las verduras y cortarlas en cubos pequeños, luego pongo una sartén en la estufa a fuego alto y luego pongo una cucharada de aceite de oliva, luego agrego la cebolla y dejo que se marchite y luego el pimentón y dejo que se cocine, ahora agrego el tomate y dejo que se marchite.

• The first thing I do is wash the vegetables and cut them into small cubes, then I put a pan on the stove over high heat and then I put a tablespoon of olive oil, then I add the onion and let it wilt and then the paprika and let it cook, now I add the tomato and let it wilt.

• A continuación se añade el jamón en trozos pequeños y se deja freír una vez dorado, luego se añaden los huevos batidos y se remueve constantemente hasta que el huevo esté bien cocido, entonces se añade sal y listo.

• Then add the ham in small pieces and let it fry once browned, then add the beaten eggs and stir constantly until the egg is well cooked, then add salt and that's it.

• Para preparar las arepas, lo primero que hago es preparar la masa, para ello cojo un bol, añado agua y sal y luego añado la harina de maíz y amaso con la ayuda de mis manos sin dejar grumos para que la masa tenga una textura suave.

• To prepare the arepas, the first thing I do is to prepare the dough, for this I take a bowl, add water and salt and then add the corn flour and knead with the help of my hands without leaving lumps so that the dough has a smooth texture.

• Una vez que la masa está lista, formé pequeñas bolas y luego las aplané con las manos para darles una forma redonda. Luego coloco una sartén o budare en la estufa a fuego alto y cuando el aceite está caliente coloco las arepas para que se cocinen por ambos lados hasta que se tuesten.

• Once the dough is ready, I form small balls and then flatten them with my hands to give them a round shape. Then I place a frying pan or budare on the stove on high heat and when the oil is hot place the arepas so that they cook on both sides until they are toasted.
