Visiting the San Miguel Arcángel Church in the town of Guanaguana// Monagas- Venezuela

En Semana Santa suelo visitar los templos pero este año se me complicó un poco la visita, pero para no perder la tradición aproveché mi viaje a la ciudad de Maturín, estado Monagas y me di cuenta que el templo tenía las puertas abiertas e hice una parada para visitar este antiguo templo ubicado en la localidad de Guanaguana.
Esta iglesia fue construida en el siglo XVIII, dedicada a San Miguel Arcángel. Fue construida por los indígenas en los años 1777-1780. Es una iglesia muy visitada por los turistas ya que es un gran atractivo por sus ruinas.
Particularmente me gusta visitar esta iglesia y cada vez que paso por este lugar y tengo la oportunidad de entrar a ella, lo hago porque ahí se siente paz, tranquilidad; además, admiro y disfruto de estas construcciones antiguas porque guarda mucha historia y también un poco de misterio de vidas pasadas.
