Airdrop Reminder: Claim your LARYNX for December ~ Getting Near the End! Don't Forget!!

Well here we are, December already. It seems like the airdrop of LARYNX tokens just started yesterday but here we are. The airdrop is for a year and the first one was in March, so that means we have three left. Let's make sure we remember to claim all of them!

Go and claim your LARYNX tokens for December. You can claim them on <spk.dlux.io> or at <3speak>. You can now also see your LARYNX balance on https://ecency.com/, so there's cool. (Go to your wallet and click the SPK tab)

I seem to be forever forgetting about this until the last minute. Which is maybe good, as I can also remind you guys at the last minute not to forget. Go do it now!

But, hey, they are free, so might as well go and get them. Once again, here.

I've been selling some (not for much, but.. well, free money!), delegating some, and just sitting on the rest. I don't really have any strategy for this, I'm just winging it. I'm sure there are better ways to use these free tokens, so don't just do what I do.

In discord someone asked me how to sell them. It's similar to how you sell any token on Hive-Engine, but it is slightly different, so let me give a quick tutorial about that.

Go https://spk.dlux.io/ and click on the DEX button. This should be the default view, but click it anyway.

Scroll down a bit and you'll see the Buy/sell columns that should be familiar to you if you trade on Hive-Engine.

To sell what you want to look at is the buy orders. To sell as quickly as possible, you'll just sell to the top buy order.

Now unlike on H-E, we can't just click on the highest and let the system do the math for us. We have to do a little work here so get your calculator out.

I'm going to do a LIMIT order here, by the way. A Market order should be easier, but in my experience trying to use this, the market orders are never met but the limit orders go thru in a few minutes. So that's what we'll do here. But feel free to experiment with the other.

In this example the top buy order is offering .0148 hive for each LARYNX token. And they want to buy a total of 11152.28 tokens. I want to sell to this order, so in the sell window I will type the price. Now just to make this example easy to follow, let's pretend I want to only sell 10 tokens. I can input 10 in the sell window, buy I can't input the price per token, so I have to do the math and input the total price. Easy enough. 10 times .148 gives me 1.48 so I input that in the total price. The system will automatically figure out the price per token for you and fill in that third box. Then hit sell.

It should go through eventually, though it may take a few minutes.

Anyway, you can always decide what to do with them later. For now, just remember to claim them! Do it now before you forget!
