Bicycles Everywhere!! ~ Riding Japan
They do really love their bicycles in Japan!
Don't get the wrong idea—cars are very common, especially here in Aichi Prefecture, home of Toyota, where they really love their cars. But bicycles are still extremely common. The most common use for them is probably riding to the train station. Most train stations have these massive massive bicycle parking lots. Like that first photo, or like his one...
You can get lost in there!
Here is a more normal looking parking space. But, you see... this extends for quite some way.
And finally, here's a salaryman riding home at the end of the day.
Bicycle heaven!!
