Flight of the Birds ~

They gather by the river every evenings in autumn where they sit for a while, then fly back and forth. Their practice makes some good practice of my own taking photos of them.

From another autumn. This one is a bit overprocessed, but that was the style when I did it for an exhibition a few years back.

They fly back and forth several times, then all gather in the river, presumably resting, but maybe socializing, then they repeat the flying again. The river is always kept fairly low around this time, so they have plenty of dry spots to rest on, and it's pretty shallow even in the wet bits.

Beautiful photo collections with a nice song.
I love birds' photography because I feel them close to me. They remind me of flying freely!
