Just Like the Days I Used to Know

avatar

Thinking about how things used to be.

Add a few textures and it often gives that old effect. I might desaturate it a little if I wanted to heighten the effect. As is, it's kind of like a fading memory. And indeed it is... this was only from a few years ago, but this entire area has changed. The sidewalks have been repaved and expanded, the steps redone, small piers added for boats at festival time. One thing about much of Japan—they never really stop with the improvements. That's mostly good, of course. We like improvement. But it does also mean that things go away quickly.
