My Hive Goals ~ 14 Aug 2023

Hello all! Another week and it's time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. I'm going to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too. I also want to give a brief preview of some of the posts I have someing this week, at least the ones I've already written and scheduled.

Let's start with my Hive goals.

~ Hive & HBD ~

My current goal is 25k Hive.

This past week I made 144.310, bringing me to 17,325.750 total Hive Power. That's 69.3% of my goal!

So... 25k - 17,325.750 gives us 7674.25. That makes 54.8 hive needed per day to reach 25k by the end of the year. Man.... that was only 49 last week. I keep falling further and further behind. Oh well. I suppose that means it's probably not possible for me to hit 25k by the end of the year, but I suppose we'll see how close we can get!

~ BRO ~

Last week I bought and earned 2.140, which puts me at 485.520 total. Now that it looks like I can't reach 25k HP this year maybe I should go back to focusing on Bro. I'm almost half a dragon at this point!

~ PIMP ~

I made 271.267 PIMP last week, putting me at 54,952.615. No goal here, but 60k is approaching!

That stuff out of the way, let's do our SBI drawing! If you are new here, I give away 5 shares of SBI every week to commenters on this post. If I get under five commenters, I try to divide it up as best as possible, and if I get over five, I do a random drawing.

Wow, that is quite a bit of Bro! Very nice! I wish I had that much. It's just so dang expensive! Easier to earn it.

Yeah, that's why I've slowed down a lot in my BRO buying. At 3-5 hive, I could justify it. But at 8-10, that becomes a tougher buy. I have no doubt it's worth the price and will go higher, but it's still hard to spend 8-10 hive on just one BRO when there are so many other things out there. Still... I do here and there.

yeah, I totally hear you. I've been pretty content to just delegate to them and earn my BRO that way. It won't get me to dragon anytime soon, but it is better than spending the Hive outright.

It took me 6 years to get to this point, making my progress somewhat slower than almost everyone else who has also been here for 6 years. If you put in the effort, no doubt you will also do better than I have. Good luck!

Nice growth still. maybe you will land some big upvotes in the coming months and pass into 25k hive. YOu are very consistent with your creation on the platform. Glad to see it paying off.

Hmmm, I've only got under a tenth of a Bro , tough to come by these. In PIMP, let's say I'm on the slow boat to China. Love that 25k HP goal that's just beyond the horizon. Getting back into my boat. Glad to not have to go through the musical chairs draw, Thanks for the HBI @dbooster

haha yeah Bro is a little expensive... making it a tough buy. PIMP is more affordable and I think it's every bit as good to buy as Bro is.

PIMP is a token by @enginewitty. It has a fantastic community behind it and Witty constantly has plans for more. Next to BRO, PIMP is probably my biggest recommendation on this platform. I'm about to head to bed, but if Witty doesn't chime in here before I wake up, I'll find you a link to read about it tomorrow.

Big difference with what was needed each day with last week.
It still is possible to catch up with some big payouts…

I'm lucky that my current situation allows me time enough to write everyday. As my kids get older this may change, so I'm taking advantage of it as much as I can right now.
