My Hive Goals for 11 March 2024

Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment HSBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.

Let’s start with my Hive goals.

Hive & HBD

My current goal is 35k Hive.

Last week I made 201.62, bringing me to 24469.78 total Hive Power. That’s 69.9% of my goal!

Math time. 35k - 24469.78 gives us 10530.22. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 35.6 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point.

Up a bit more from last week, but similar, so no complaints.

BRO & PIMP

Last week I earned 0.146, which puts me at 528.76 total or 52.9% of my goal. I have been musing buying some more BRO lately, but with BTC pumping recently, now does not seem like the time to do so. That said, we were reminded of the value of putting in buy orders when last week when the price dropped to 1 Hive briefly. Whoever managed to snag that deal was a lucky guy!

Jumping over to PIMP, I made 462.04 PIMP last week, putting me at 71102.08 — 71.1% of my goal. Making progress here! I really just don’t have the time or the mental clarity to pour over new tokens, new crypto games, and so on. So I’m glad to invest in a project that does exactly this, giving me the exposure to other opportunities.

Silver

The silver chart this past week was looking pretty good. Take a look:

I think all eyes have been on BTC the past few weeks, so as good as this silver chart looks, it still might look a little boring in comparison.

Now that the Steamboat Willie short is in the public domain, they can use this image of Mickey without having to pay Disney. This is almost worth buying as an FU to Disney. Not a bad price too.

Way to go!

I've resorted to buying BRO with the token divs I sell off, in addition to setting aside a monthly amount to purchase from fiat I move into Hive.

Sounds good to me. That's more or less what I do. It's always funny when I trade in a random token on beeswap for swap.Hive and then directly to BRO and I see that double swap gets me like .002 BRO 😂 Just goes to show how worthless most of these random drops we get are.

Steamboat Willy is way before my time, I bet this silver round would be a hit for the baby boomers. At least it features a Steamboat for me. Thanks for the HSBI @dbooster

It was well before the baby boomer's time too; more for their parents. It's not a very good short, honestly. From that time period, the betty boop shorts and some of the others were much better. But I'd get this just because Mickey is now finally in the public domain, so that's worth celebrating.

This is beautiful. You are gradually moving up to achieving your goals and with your maths calculations, you would definitely have more than 35k Hive Power goals. Keep progressing.

Wow! pretty impressive and motivating. When I just started hive my onboarder loaned me 13hp and said she's giving me 4months to work it as she's taking it back. I thought it would be difficult like how am I going to get 13hp and more in 4months?? but look at me now doing far better than my target 😃... really we can achieve anything once we set our mind to it 🙂
