As I mentioned last week, I want to focus more on Hive itself this year. For the first half of 2022 I was stacking HBD and for the second half I was stacking BRO. I'd still like to buy more BRO, and I will little by little, but my focus at least for the start of 2023 will be to grow my Hive!

That in mind, let's look at my big Hive power-up and some of my other gains this past week.

Hive & HBD

Yesterday I powered-up 2500 Hive. The majority of that came from trading in a lot of my HBD. Although that 20% interest is very attractive, I decided that the current low price of Hive was just too good to miss. Also, a large power-up is a good beginning for switching my focus to stacking Hive more.

My previous goal was 10k Hive Power. Well, I'm past that now. So let's step up towards Orca. My next goal I think will be 25k. That may seem unrealistic given that it's taken me five years to reach 10k, but I'm confident that if I focus on Hive instead of other coins I can make progress towards it. Let's see!

2500 that I put in aside, I gained 62.9 from posts and curation. Together that brings me to 10,515.10 HP. That puts me 42.1% towards my new goal.

If the price of Hive stays low this month, I may be tempted to convert the rest of my HBD savings, but for now I still have a little in there. While Hive is low, I'll be converting any HBD I make into Hive.

BRO

I still have my goal of 500 BRO, but as I mentioned above I am not going to focus on that like I have for the past half year. It's currently getting a little outside my price range, anyway. Last I checked it was going for 13 Hive, quite a steep increase from the 6-7 which is where I picked up most that I own.

That said, I'll still be watching it and picking up a little here and there. Last week I earned 0.423415, which puts me at 449.228 total or 89.8% of my goal.

PIMP

My goal with PIMP is all the PIMP. But just to pick a number for achievement motivation purposes, my current goal is 50k PIMP.

I made 200.6053 PIMP last week, putting me at 42,921.5339 — 85.8% of my goal.

SPS & DEC

The price of DEC remains fairly stable, but SPS is still not doing well... down to almost 20 cents now. I was hopeful when the game switched to giving SPS as a reward instead of DEC and the price shot up to 60 cents, but it's done nothing but tumble since then.

But at any rate, I made 178.943 SPS this past week and 7,189.273 DEC.

And there we go. Just a few coins I'm watching right now. But again my main focus is on Hive. For this month, Hivebuzz is doing a Hive Power-Up Month. I might participate in that. Even if I just power-up the very minimum each day (which is 1 Hive), that would help me move my goal of more Hive forward.

Anyway, this might all change this week as I watch new opportunities open up. But for now here is where we are.
