Old Songs, New Versions
Greetings and salutations Hivers. Today let's go into another Three Tune Tuesday post.

As always, thanks to @ablaze for making this series. Lots of people participate in it! Follow the tags to find a ton of good music recommendation.
Today I have another mix of songs. This one is even more wild than usual! With that brief intro, let's just jump straight in.

Middle Aged Dad Jam Band - Kodachrome [Paul Simon]
As a photographer, I am almost required to like this song. Though I'm more of a monochrome guy myself, I do have to admit Kodachrome has a beautiful look. Shame the actual film is no longer produced and can't be developed anymore even if you do have some; it's pretty tough to emulate in Photoshop as well, with none of the attempts I've even seen getting it just right.
Anyway, this is really a fantastic cover of a great song
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon [Live at Edinburgh Castle , 19th July 2014]
Speaking of things I am probably required to love, as a child of the 80s, this is probably one of them. A really classic song, and this performance of it may even rival the original! I mean, Boy George's voice has changed a bit, so this is different, but no less good!
Just in case you are too young to know fine culture, here's the original.
Postmodern Jukebox [feat Sara Niemietz] - I Will Survive
I can't seem to make a post like this without turning to Postmodern Jukebox. They just have so many odd, unusual, and interesting covers .
This one is the classic I Will Survive sung in a 40s Latin Jazz style. Crazy how good it is!

Those are some nice covers! I've always liked the punk covers of songs like that. Me First and the Gimme Gimme's is one of my favorites. I have a few of their albums. Those Barber Shop Quartet covers that Jimmy Fallon used to do are great too.
