Outside the Temple ~ Exploring Japan

Always interesting walking around Japan and seeing things like this.

This is from outside a temple. I'm not sure if the wash basin is used much or if it's just for decorative purposes. The bamboo looked (and felt) real, but the other plants did not. An odd but interesting arrangement.

I was just walking around here while I waited for an appointment. It's nice that this city has so many temples and shrines, so one is never far from where ever I find myself. Always something to see and explore!
