Silver Sales!
I enjoy browsing the silver sites. It's mostly window shopping for me, unfortunately. Kids, houses, and cars are expensive in Japan, so I don't have a lot of free money. I haven't found a lot of websites for stores in this country that give very good deals either. Oh well. But the American sites are fun. They seem to have things on sale nearly everyday. It really pays to browse them often.
Come to think of it, maybe it's a good thing that I can't easily buy from these places—I'd buy way too much!
Anyway, I know most of you reading are in America, so I thought we'd take a look at some of the cool things I found this morning to temp you.
First thing that jumped out at me is this sweet looking Genghis Khan silver round.
That design is really well done! Bold Precious Metals has it for only 2 bucks over spot. There are only 2061 of them, so if you like the look of it, better hurry!
Next, you can get a 2024 silver eagle at spot.
Looks like you are only allowed one at that price, but if you are putting together an order, adding this seems a no brainer. Get it at Bullion Exchanges. I thought I saw a 24 hour timer on the page, but it seems to have disappeared, so I don't know how long this deal will be available.

That is a cool design on the dragon one at the end. I also like the Genghis Kahn one. I saw some cool ones from Kzoo the other day, but I'm with you and kind of on a spending freeze. It had some color in it which usually doesn't impress me that much. I like the fact that some of these are limited runs. It adds to the value of them which is cool.
Yeah, I agree. Might as well appeal both to the stacker and the collector by keeping the minting size small.
I was tempted to get the 1/2oz dragon coin, but I can't bring myself to buy anything with Chuckles on it.

Choices, choices, choices ...so many choices to make.
There's not a large variety available in Canada since most of my retailers carry mostly Numismatic product rather than low margin bullion, it's slowly growing.
Here it is much the same, with few places carrying any bullion at all.

Some cool designs there, especially the dragon. Premiums on dragon coins have been steep lately. That eagle is a no brainer at that price. I hear you on prices though, I live in southern California....

Is it bad there too? I can imagine. What's the sales tax there? 10%? It's 10% here. With the falling yen and the rising...everything else, makes it rough. I swear, every single time I go in the grocery store, the prices are higher. And groceries are taxable in this country, making it even worse. It's getting hard to put money aside for silver.
I'm downsizing my items I own to what I really need to move out of here. California is just getting too expensive. Sales tax depends on where you live, many places it's over ten percent. Plus the state is bankrupt and still spending like drunken sailors on the town. I think it's just time to move which is a shame because it's a beautiful place.
