The market's down—panic is everywhere: blood is in the water, the sky is falling, the end is nigh!

Does that about cover it?

BTC is trending down and that is causing everything to go with it, including Hive. BTC keeps testing 30k, while Hive seems to have no such strong support level and has tumbled under a half-dollar. I'm not smart enough in the ways of the market to understand exactly what has caused this—I've seen Luna mentioned more than a few times, as well as the NASDAQ and a few other things—but I do know at least one thing: don't panic!

(And make sure you have a towel handy)

Crypto veterans know we've been here before. HIVE old-timers remember when our coin was at 10 cents not so long ago.

If there is one piece of advice that I've learned and you should too is that you should be cautious when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful. That advice comes from Warren Buffet and it is good to remember.

Be Greedy When Others Are Fearful

A week or so ago I wrote that you should take profit in a bull market (sell high) and buy into projects (buy low) in a bear market. Buffet's quote is just another way of looking at that.

Right now everyone is fearful, everyone is panicking and selling everything they have in an effort to recover at least a little of their investment. This is the perfect environment for us to start averaging into things that we believe in.

Like BTC! It's very possible the 30k support won't be able to hold and it will tumble further, but now at over 50% down from the high point, this is a great time to start to reenter. Keep averaging in all the way down, then when it starts to go back up, you will have gotten in at very good prices. I'd say Hive also fits the bill here. I believe in HIVE and if you are here I imagine you do too. ~50 cents is a hell of a good price for it!

Invest in HBD

Let's not forget that even if you don't feel comfortable taking risks right now, HBD has remained stable and is giving us an amazing 20% interest. If you aren't putting all the HBD you make from posts into the HBD savings account, you are missing out.

I want to share the only YouTube investor that I have found worthwhile these past few years.

This guy has made me a lot of money. Yeah he's young, but he knows his stuff and freely gives great advice. I can't recommend his channel enough. Subscribe and watch his daily video for interesting info about current market conditions.

Don't Panic!

Anyway, keep calm. This too will pass. The market will recover. If you are over-invested and really need money, then of course sell, but if you can afford to ride the storm, you will be rewarded for it.
