Another LeoFinance post from me inside of a week? Fairly unusual, I know. That's just how the calendar worked out this week, I guess, with LPUD yesterday and Monday is my Hive Goals post day. Don't worry, we will return to your regularly scheduled program tomorrow, maybe a haiku or some pretty photos.

For now, let's dive into my Hive Goals and last week's progress.

~ Hive ~

So how are we on the path to 25k? Still far... but getting closer!

This past week I increased my HP 178.990, bringing me to 13,904.56 total Hive Power. That's 55.6% of my goal!

That increase is from the half of posts that powers up automatically and from my daily staking for Hive Power-Up Month (HPUM). I've been staking a random amount between 1 and 10 everyday, with the exception of last night before bed when I staked 30. Why did I do that? No idea. It was kind of a spur of the moment whim.

It all leaves me just a little short of 14k, which I will hopefully pass this week.

So let's play with some figures. 25k - 13,904.56 equals 11,095.44. Not bad. 259 days from today to the first of next year. 11,095.44 divided by 259 gives us 42.839. Hmm.. Still not making much of a dent in that number. Oh well. We keep trying!

One even brighter side was my curation these past 7 days is at an average of 2.8. It's exciting to watch the curation number climb. @revisesociology was talking about reaching the flippening a week or so ago. I think I'm still a ways from that point, but I can see it inching closer each week!

~ PIMP ~

My goal with PIMP is all the PIMP. But just to pick a number for achievement motivation purposes, my current goal is 50k PIMP. I'm number 10 on the rich list and aiming to go up even more!

Closer and closer. I made 296.742 PIMP last week, putting me at 49,464.5241 — 98.9% of my goal.

50k - 49,464.5241 gives us 535.4759. At this rate, I'll reach that in 2 weeks. That is, if I don't have an extra good week or if I can resist the temptation of just buying what I need to get up past 50k.

~ Other Goings On ~

If you haven't seen this one, it's worth a look. @spinvest is taking all the money from the token sale and investing in the top 15 cryptocoins. After 2 years, he will bring that money back to Hive and buy back all the tokens with the gains.

@spinvest is a good trader and knows what he's doing, so I think it's a pretty fair bet. The only question we need to ask if do we want to wait 2 years. I'm sure most of us hate the idea of locking up our money for 2 years like that because what if a great investment comes in that time and we miss it, eh? Truth is, for the majority of us this will probably give us much better returns than we can ever do on our own.

I've bought a few and will buy more before the sale ends. You might consider doing the same. Check out the recent post.

EDS Delegations

They aren't minting any more mini miners, unfortunately. They are, however, adding delegations. Starting today... well, I live in the future so maybe not my today. Probably the UK's today, which is still a few hours away. Let's just say soon. Starting soon we can delegate HP and receive EDS in return.

The mining rate will be lower than the miners, so that's a bummer, but it's not too bad. EDS is one of the safest tokens in the Hive ecosystem, so definitely worth considering a delegation.

I won't write too much here because I covered it yesterday in a bit more detail, but a small mention. Threads, i.e. Twitter on Hive, is pretty exciting! Lots of potential in this new Hive app. Definitely go check it out!
