Great day! SplinterBuds and HIVE-bees from everywhere. First week of this month is getting me chills although i live in tropical country, still there is this cold breeze that can be felt once in a while. It is still hot though when noon but its getting cold late in the afternoon then up to the next day. Colds and flu are getting normal here these days here in our country so its better to start stacking vitamin C to out body. Keep it safe fellas. Its really not a good feeling catching cold plus coughs. Been barking from few days now and its really annoying for I am disturbing sleeping people. Sorry to them. Ok, enough of my nonsense again and lets focus to my entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge.

Dark Arborist of Death Splinters

I wonder if you minted this card from the reward sets of rebellion series? I got maxed its Regular Foil so I can use its full battle capacity. A card that is good on low level battles, can still be use in modern and got a good defense against magic damage dealers and can debuff melee attackers with their attacking power. So why I am featuring this card for my blog? I just don't have anything to share at the moment so that is why this card was presented. lol. Just kidding. Probably, this card was always one of my favorite fillers when i am playing death splinters as my team. Its qualities are perfect for your front or back cover for your team. That Magic reflect is really a good defense for the magic damage dealers which is i put a great impression to the card that possess it. Magic damage dealers, for me, are good at giving their opponent a hard time so when there is an ability that can cause magic damages be negated, I am really grateful to that kind of ability. Well that's me, we have different standards on our being so I think you have to insists your too. Probably one of the the reason is because, Magic damages can penetrate the monsters armor then directly making damage to the monster units life. That is really a nasty way of attack coming from the magicians. So with that, Dark Arborist is a good card that posses magic damage and can cause your opponent suffer from its abilities specially those who has Magic damages.

A Sample Battle For Dark Arborist

Lets see an example battle that Dark Arborist was included in the team.

This is a Wild Ranked battle that includes anu card generations from splinterlands. It is not limited to just Rebellion or Conclave series, Alpha Beta etc. are part of the rank battles in wild. For this one, my team should be coming from the Death splinters. With just 20 Mana on the rule sets, Most of my cards will be, as much as possible, low mana. Summoned by Thaddius Brood, Death Ranger then Dark Arborist started the component of my team. Altough Death Ranger is a range attack damage dealer, That armor and Void armor ability is perfectly suited to place itself in front of your team. Dark Arborist also got the good quality of a tank so it is placed there on the second position. Also take note that both this monster units can attack even placed in the frontmost part of your team. Ravenhood Warden is another good card that can boost the armor of your monster units in the battle field. Antoher thing is that it got inspire which is a good boost to your melee damage dealers. Completing my will be Broken Earth Thug and Grifzi that got melee with the abilities that can attack from their position. The opponent is an Earth Splinter Team that got the most thorniest summoner Mylor. I wonder how my team can fight their opponent with their abilities. I am feeling guilty with my Melee damage dealers from my team.

Well, that didn't went well to my opponent's team. One thing to take note in this battle is that the Ruleset "Now you see Me" provided camouflage ability to every monster Units which then letting the attacks being faced by the tank alone from multiple monster units. That resulted to the stress of my opponents Tank and although it was supported by heal, it did not withstand the multiple bombardment of attacks from my team that resulted to its early fall. With the front collapse and the following monster card units of my opponent are like paper tigers, they were beaten easily by my team.

• Dark Arborist will be a great offensive plus a tank type of Magician that is really usable not just for low mana battles even for higher ones. I hope you minted your free reward copies of this one! Happy Battling!! :)
