Nigeria, one of the leading countries in the world with high number of crypto currency activities in the world had banned the use of crypto currency which the government considered threatening to the economy and a tool which is used to devalue the utility of its Naira (NGN).
This, being among the reasons why the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN opted in for the ban of all digital assets, especially BTC and its kind has created much more barrier to all who found cryptos a good means to move about with their funds intact.
Based on the reactions of the holders and exchanges owned and moderated by Nigerians, the CBN was sued to court for freezing their funds, simply because they were the orchestras of the utility of cryptos in Nigeria.
Today, the Nigerian government has stepped up their game by apprehending anyone found using cryptos with lots of fine placed.
This to an extent has been abused to its peak whereby, the young men and woman who found favours in cryptos are the main prey for the dirty police officers.
They're seen more like a criminal.
They are searched almost on daily basis and if any crypto related program or application is found on their devices, that's it. The user will be victimized, beaten like a snake, abused and extorted of its funds without being charged to the court to face the law.
For the CBN, if in anyway, money is transferred with any crypto related term/memo. Boom!
The account is frozen and all the funds will be ceased while the victim faces serious charges.
Are crypto traders worse than the politicians?
Come to think of it, these people are majorly those that have been laid off from their working places due to post covid-19 effects. Some are students struggling with their studies while others are the real business men and women.
This has to come to its best controlled state.
To throw more light on the abuses, the government banned Twitter few months ago. Twitter for Nigerians is just like a market place where young men and women thrive on daily basis for their pay and popularity. Some use it to complete their airdrop, brand ambassador programs and many other crypto related activities.
The government deceived those who wished to be deceived on the Independence day that if Twitter agrees to their terms of operation, it would be unbanned. Till date, Twitter is still not accessible without a strong VPN in Nigeria.

Who's fooling who?
There are little number of good paying jobs for the youths, even the graduates do jobs that can't pay their rent, not to talk of feeding complete two meals per day.

To anyone who lives in Nigeria and has found this content, please mind how you talk about Cryptos in public places.
Always delete every mail from any crypto currency site after getting the info.
Don't trade your cryptos up to decimals i.e stop at any whole number.
Reduce the amount sold or bought per transaction.
I have many prey around me and their experiences are nothing to write home about. Some loss their lives in the process of redemption.
God will see us through.
Do have a lovely day.
Stay alive.
