Fungi Friday || I found Lingzhi mushrooms from today's hunting activities

Hi guys, Today I went mushroom hunting with a friend to a tropical forest 15 minutes away by motorbike, even though today the weather in our city was very hot, this did not dampen our enthusiasm for going mushroom hunting, and I feel very lucky because today I was able to find a species of fungus that grew on a betel nut tree that had fallen down, from a distance my gaze was fixed on the areca palm tree and sure enough when I got closer I saw this mushroom growing behind the areca palm tree, this mushroom looked very fresh because it had just bloomed and have good growth.

You could say this mushroom is very beautiful with a dominant white color, only a slight brownish yellow color on the mushroom leaves, but another interesting view is on the mushroom stem, I noticed that on the mushroom stem there are many pores with very beautiful small holes, I also observed carefully that the pores encircle the stem starting from the very bottom to the border of the leaves, I assume that these pores function to breathe in the surrounding air which functions as a fungal growth from day to day, this fungus has mushroom stems and leaves which is hard when compared to other types of mushrooms in general, the way this mushroom grows is also very unique, namely by sticking very firmly to the stem of the areca nut so that this mushroom does not peel off easily when it collides with objects around it.

This mushroom is known as "Lingzhi" which is a type of seasonal mushroom that usually grows on rotten tree trunks, this mushroom grows not determined by weather factors, usually you will find other types of mushrooms during the rainy season but not Lingzhi mushrooms, this mushroom The growth is not influenced by weather factors, but this fungus is determined by rotten trees. Apart from that, this fungus can also grow on living tree trunks which have dry bark. This fungus also has the well-known scientific name "Ganoderma lucidum". since ancient times, in several articles that I have studied on the internet, I found the fact that apart from being cooked as a soup, this mushroom is also very good for traditional medicine, but still, if you want to consume this mushroom as medicine then you need to do so. under the supervision of medical experts so that you are safe from unwanted things happening in your life.

Thank you very much for visiting my blog, here are several mushroom photos that I have captured for all of you, see you in the next post with different mushroom portraits;

It's true, summer is fatal for mushrooms, although you did very well this time.
Have a great weekend
