You seem to be acquainted with a lot of happenings in Nigeria. You know quite a lot. Names of cities, our movie industry and a lot that you are yet to talk about.
I don't really know about your country aside the fact that you people are less corrupt 😁. I could go ahead by asking what city you live in..... πŸ˜€

I live in Copenhagen, Denmark. Part of the Nordic countries which means cold and wet 3/4 of the year :) I live in a quarter with many migrants so I know West Africans who live here, also from Nigeria (he's Igbo). And then I often get bored with just hearing about what happens in the US so I read foreign papers instead: Sweden, Norway (our neighbouring countries), but also South African and Nigerian papers as I can read it in English.

Here's a tourist video presenting the city of Copenhagen as if it were one of the seven wonders of the world. It is not as glorious as they make it to be, but a nice city all in all.

The video says it all from beautiful old designs of building to modern ones and a lot of fun places to visit and the foods too 😍.

Well it is a nice city. It is also a cold city. All those tourist videos are made in the summer where it is only really dark around midnight. In the winter the dark comes already in the afternoon and when you get up in the morning it is still dark as in the night :)

Btw. I read about the uproar in Nigeria over violence against women. I saw some other posts here on Hive with the same topic and guessed there was something i had missed. I really hope that many people will unite in that struggle. All the best!

Darkness in the afternoon. LOL. That would be some strange feeling if I experience it for the first time. We have something similar, it's often called longer day shorter night or shorter night longer day. It's still bright at about 7pm when ordinarily it will be dark during longer day shorter nights.

Violence against women.. Hmm. That's what propelled me to write about rape the other day. A couple of guys raped a young girl inside the church where she went to read and a policeman shot a young girl dead too. These are happenings that made a lot of people weep and sorrowful. It's so sad a cruel world which we live.

If you go further North up in Sweden or Norway you reach the place where the sun never sets in summer and it is dark 24 hours in midwinter :)

I read about those terrible incidents. I normally tell my wife about what I read and discuss on the internet, but I think I will spare her about these sad tales. Too terrible.

Wow! 24 hours darkness πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†. That would awkward. It may be difficult to know when to sleep and when to wake up, when to go to work and when to close.. The whole day would be &@)%=?!=(-/=%(:+=!' LOL

About the sad happenings in my country. It's sad. That's the word. SAD 😞

There is light coming into the atmosphere even though the sun is not coming above the horizon so at noon it is like a dawn. In the summer it is like having a very long sunset that is never really a sunset :)
