SEWING & DISPLAYING OF PEPLON TOP AND A THREE QUARTER SKIRT
Hey lovelies β€οΈ
It's your favorite girl @debbie-ese π
Welcome to my blog π€

It was a rainy day today - it is not out of place to say it's a rainy Wednesday. I got to the shop despite the weather even though it was difficult getting out of bed due to the cozy weather. The major work of the day is a fabric that I have started working on since yesterday. So, I have already done a bulk of the work by cutting and weaving the fabric since yesterday.

Interestingly, I started cutting this material without any style in mind because the customer didn't specify the style she wanted. All she told me is to create her a magic. However, I know the customer would like a sweet heart cup, so I was going to play around it. I started getting more inspired on how to sew the dress when I got to the shop today.

The style I came up with was a peplon top and a three quarter skirt. After sewing the top I realized that the material was not going to be sufficient so I had to improvise by using the lace I used for the sweet heart yoke on the top to add to the skirt. The skirt is just a pencil skirt, there is no serious details and it wasn't hard to make.

I finished the dress at about 3pm - bear in mind that I had already cut, weave and ironed the fabrics yesterday. After that I just relaxed in the shop awaiting to make more sales which along the line I had a couple of people come in to make some purchases.
Thank you for your time lovelies.

The design make sense but the white you mixed is too outstanding
Thanks for the comments.
There are some customers who don't always buy enough materials so you have to compliment with other materials. The Ankara, which is the main fabric was not sufficient so I had to add the white to it.
What a beautifully made, the fabric of this piece left me enchanted, what beautiful folds. Brilliant work, I really liked it.
Hey @bleuclair, I'm glad you like it. Thanks for your comment β€οΈ
