Diy//!Off-Shoulder Triangle Handkerchief Top
Hello hive.

Yes
Good day DIYHub family đâ¨
Iâm excited to share with you the making of this beautiful top!
Itâs a stunning off-shoulder design featuring:
A flowy triangle (handkerchief) shape
Stylish cut-together sleeves
A perfect fit using your measurements with added ease
The best part? You can achieve this elegant look in just 1 hour! âąď¸âď¸
Stay tuned as I walk you through the simple steps to create this lovely piece. Letâs sew something amazing together! đđ§ľ

Measurements
Bust: 35â + 1â ease = 36â
Waist: 26â + 1â ease = 27â
Waist Length: 16"**
Fabric Requirement
1½ yards Ankara
Matching thread
âď¸ Cutting Process
Step 1. Prepare Fabric
Fold your Ankara into four (4 folds) to form a square. Since this is a triangle handkerchief style, the top is cut as a loose poncho shape with a pointed hem.

Step 2. Form the Triangle Shape
On the folded fabric, measure from the top corner down to your desired length (about 25â28 inches depending on how long you want the points) I use 28 inches for mine.

Mark a diagonal line from one side to the other to create that triangle handkerchief effect.
Cut along the diagonalâthis gives you the pointed edges.
After that I separate the back and front.

â𧾠SEWING PROCESS
âstep 1. Hem First
âHem all raw edges:
âNeckline
âSides
âFold twice and stitch

âstep 2. Join Front and Back
âPlace right sides facing each other
find the midpoint
âFrom the midpoint:
âMeasure 9 inches to the right
âMeasure 9 inches to the left
â(Total shoulder = 18 inches)
âAt each 9-inch mark.
âShoulder hold point (2 inches) width âThis creates a slight shoulder hold area.
âLeave the upper part open for off-shoulder effect
âThe sides remain partially open to form flowing sleeves
Shape the Side
Mark Bust and Waist
âBust Line:
âFrom shoulder line, measure down 10 inches
âApply bust formula:
â35 á 4 = 8.75 + 1 inch ease = 9.75 inches
âMark outward on both sides
âWaist Line:
âFrom shoulder, measure down 16 inches
âApply waist formula:
â26 á 4 = 6.5 + 1 inch ease = 7.5 inches
âMark and curve slightly ârun a stitch on it.

âDo not overfit, keep it slightly loose
âLeave enough space for easy wear
âFinishing Touch
âPress neatly
âEnsure neckline sits well on the shoulders
Final look
