Hello everyone, Today my #marketfriday goes to supermarkets, flower markets and restaurants and these are for #MarketFriday contest by @dswigle . Special thanks to her for the contest .

Recently we went to the Trade fair supermarket, flower market and some roadside restaurants at Astoria, queens at NYC. The grocery stores are like so colorful and available almost everything but the price are some expensive here on NYC and you know this Astoria place is one of the expensive city. This place is near Manhattan island, so this may be the reason. Anyway the restaurants are all so festive and always people are chatting, eating and laughing here. I like the mostly restaurants how they decorate those with lights and colorful flowers with adding some music sometimes and the cost is not so expensive if you eat here full meal.

If you want to travel on Manhattan island , I would suggest you to take a peak on Astoria park on riverside and also the restaurants here. You will not be frustrated.

So nice to see you here on Market Friday again! Thank you so much for supporting the challenge. I actually like Astoria very much and spent some time there when I was living in Connecticut. Everything is expensive there but not quite as expensive as Manhattan.

Those are really lovely melons and squash in the market. I love the way the store has put a lot of their products out in front of the store. It reminds me of when I was a kid growing up and there were a lot more vendors that put food on the sidewalks. They really do have a plentiful amount of flowers and I hope you grabbed a bouquet to bring home! How could you resist?

It's still nice enough to eat out on the sidewalk or along the sidewalk anyway and it gives you a nice view of the people walking by lights hanging everywhere, the chatter of the people, and some music! That's what I'm talking about! It is nice the way they mix the flowers in giving it a genteel appeal. It really is fun seeing different places along the roadside and it can't hurt to walk a little bit!

I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? These are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on television. Sometimes, it seems like I learn more on some social media about a certain incident than what the news tells me.

I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece to your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

  6. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
  7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
