Tusk The Wide | SPT W-277 Splinterlands Art Contest, Digital Art

Hello, how are you all hive friends?

Hopefully your news is fine, and you will always be given blessings in this life 😊

This is the 52nd post since I took part in the weekly art contest held by @Splinterlands, here I drawing Tusk The Wide.

Making this character was fun in the process, both from the sketch, to the line art which was the most fun, as well as the coloring stage which this time was also fun to do😁

I chose this character, because from the start when I took part in the Splinterlands art contest, it was very rare for anyone to draw this character. Even though this character is unique, with a Viking face and physique, a large ax and a very fat body, it is very characteristic.

And I imagine if the enemy was crushed by his body, he might immediately K.O ha.ha.ha.

And what's certain is that it's a shame that there are rarely other participants who make fan art illustrations of this character, so I want to honor this character, who is quite cool in my opinion.

I still use a strong line art method but the coloring this time is still a bit of light digital painting and a combination of cell shading too of course😊.

The Splinterlands card game artwork is named after the character Tusk The Wide Splinterlands.

This time I didn't have a target because I enjoyed the process, last week I still got a position on the board which was really great in the middle of the illustration work from Hive artists which is getting cooler by the week and the imagination of the work is getting wilder and more beautiful.

However, I am quite happy to be able to always take part in this competition, because it hones my skills in making illustrations both technically and imaginatively.

And thank you also to my Hive community friends, curators and other artists who have always supported me in creating work all this time.

What you said here is very true xd. Most participants including myself mostly draw female characters which are very aesthetically pleasing to look at because deep down you know that you can't ness it up because it already looks so good in cell shading style. Sometimes I do get inspired to draw underrated characters like this after seeing your works. That's why I drew the green ganster goblin after seeing your red gangster goblin art. My next Splinterlands Art will definitely be based on some of the underrated cards like this :)

Awesome work and have a nice day bro.

Yes, I think female characters were chosen because basically we tend to see women as beautiful creatures, so many people immortalize them in works, while monsters or fat men are not seen as good to look at.

Even though each has its own beautiful side, and I like that you also follow my method, how to make fanart of underrated characters become more well known😁 come on, let's be enthusiastic about creating with my friends😊

Thank you😊 but it seems too high to praise it, because many other artists' works are better than me😁
