Hello fellow foodies. Last night I was given a gift by my brother. A gift containing one of the typical cakes from Sunda, Indonesia. The name of the cake is awug cake. Dear foodies from West Java, Indonesia. You must be familiar with this dish.

To make an awug cake, the ingredients needed are quite simple. The basic ingredients are glutinous rice flour, coconut and coconut flour, and brown sugar. As for the manufacturing process by steaming.

The awug cake has a sweet taste this is due to the mixture of sugar in it. And the savory taste of the coconut husk. With the mixture of these two flavors, the nuances of taste are enough to make me addicted.
