I loved watching Jackass many years ago when the show was included in MTV's usual programming. It was my favorite thing to watch from that channel, and even though other similar groups came up years later, such as the Dudesons, Jackass was always my favorite.
In the last decade, when the YouTubers and streamers began to take over, Jackass was kind of forgotten for a while. I believe they couldn't figure out how to effectively reach these new audiences and with the exception of Steve O, who did some crazy stuff on YouTube, most of Jackass' originals appeared to be retired from the scene. At least that's what I believe because their previous films are older than 10 years now.
There are 2 pranks from the Jackass original crew that I absolutely love and are among the best pranks I have ever seen. The first one was the epic taxi prank when one member of Jackass dressed as a Taliban and requested a trip to the airport, and while on the trip, he started to make bomb jokes to the taxi driver.
This is an old joke and Americans were still very traumatized about the Twin Towers, but the genius in this joke is that the taxi man was working with Jackass without the supposed "Taliban" knowing anything, and when the taxi driver gets mad and decides to kidnap him to protect his country the "Taliban" almost shits his pants! I think he even cried during that prank, which is a bit cruel but also funny to watch.
The other classic Jackass prank that I love is when Johnny Knoxville dresses as an old man and begins to misbehave while supposedly taking care of his grandson in public. It was hilarious and if you haven't watched those pranks you should really look them up.
Me encantaba ver Jackass hace muchos años cuando el programa estaba incluido en la programación habitual de MTV. Era lo que más me gustaba ver en ese canal, y aunque años después surgieron otros grupos similares, como los Dudesons, Jackass siempre fue mi favorito.
En la última década, cuando los YouTubers y los streamers comenzaron a tomar el control, Jackass quedó en el olvido por un tiempo. Creo que no supieron cómo llegar efectivamente a estas nuevas audiencias y, con la excepción de Steve O, que hizo algunas cosas locas en YouTube, la mayoría de los originales de Jackass parecían haber sido retirados de la escena. Al menos eso es lo que creo porque sus películas anteriores tienen más de 10 años.
Hay 2 bromas del equipo original de Jackass que me encantan y se encuentran entre las mejores bromas que he visto. La primera fue la épica broma del taxi cuando un miembro de Jackass se vistió como un talibán y solicitó un viaje al aeropuerto y, durante el viaje, comenzó a hacer bromas sobre bombas al taxista.
Este es una brom viejo y los estadounidenses todavía estaban muy traumatizados por las Torres Gemelas, pero la genialidad de este chiste es que el taxista estaba trabajando con Jackass sin que el supuesto "taliban" supiera nada, y cuando el taxista se enoja y decide secuestrar al taliban para proteger a su pais, el "taliban" casi se caga en los pantalones! Creo que incluso lloró durante esa broma, lo cual es un poco cruel pero también divertido de ver.
La otra broma clásica de Jackass que me encanta es cuando Johnny Knoxville se viste como un anciano y comienza a portarse mal mientras supuestamente cuida a su nieto en público. Fue divertidísimo y si no has visto esas bromas, deberías buscarlas.
Many years in the past, there was a period in my life when I was constantly consuming new pranks content from YouTube, and I loved many of the videos, but none of them were as extreme or intense as Jackass, and later on, it was revealed some of the YouTube pranksters faked their pranks. I don't know if Jackass has faked some of their pranks or tricks but I hope they don't because it would really taint their reputation.
I think one of the reasons why this show gained so many fans is because this type of content couldn't be found anywhere else. Their craziness was something completely unique, and they delivered new and fun content over and over again, sometimes even putting their own health at risk, which isn't necessary to produce entertaining content but they do it anyway. Jackass do the tricks most people would love to do but are too afraid to try, and this is one of the main reasons why so many people love to watch them.
Jackass is most likely the group of people who have hit their balls the most in the entertainment industry, it is almost as if they had s ballbusting fetish or something like that 🤣
In this new film, there were also tricks or jokes, I don't really know how to call these, involving snakes and one of the funniest was in some type of desert when one of the guys used a fat man as a surfing board on the sand. If you say you wouldn't love to try doing that, I bet you would be lying.
They also exploded a fart inside water which was the first time ever they managed to do this on the show. Personally, I enjoy the pranks they do in public to innocent bystanders more than the tricks where they put their own health at risk, but they focus more of their time and energy in the tricks where people could easily get hurt, even them get hurt. Johnny Knoxville for example had to go to the hospital during a scene in this film.
Hace muchos años, hubo un período de mi vida en el que constantemente consumía contenido nuevo de bromas de YouTube, y muchos de los videos me encantaban, pero ninguno de ellos era tan extremo o intenso como Jackass, y más tarde, se reveló que algunos de los bromistas de YouTube falsificaron sus bromas. No sé si Jackass ha falsificado algunas de sus bromas o trucos, pero espero que no lo hagan porque realmente dañaría su reputación.
Creo que una de las razones por las que este programa ganó tantos fanáticos es porque este tipo de contenido no se podía encontrar en ningún otro lado. Su locura era algo completamente único, y entregaban contenido nuevo y divertido una y otra vez, a veces incluso poniendo en riesgo su propia salud, lo cual no es necesario para producir contenido entretenido, pero lo hacen de todos modos. Jackass hace los trucos que a la mayoría de la gente le encantaría hacer, pero que tienen demasiado miedo de intentarlo, y esta es una de las principales razones por las que a tanta gente le encanta verlos.
Jackass es probablemente el grupo de personas que más ha golpeado sus bolas en la industria del entretenimiento, es casi como si tuvieran un fetiche de de ballbusting o algo así 🤣
En esta nueva película también hubo trucos o bromas, no sé cómo llamarlos, involucrando serpientes y una de los trucos más divertidas fue en una especie de desierto cuando uno de los muchachos usó a un gordo como tabla de surf en la arena. Si dices que no te encantaría intentar hacer eso, apuesto a que estarías mintiendo.
También explotaron un peo dentro del agua, que fue la primera vez que lograron hacer esto en el programa. Personalmente, disfruto más las bromas que hacen en público a transeúntes inocentes que los trucos en los que ponen en riesgo su propia salud, pero enfocan más su tiempo y energía en los trucos en los que las personas pueden lastimarse fácilmente, incluso ellos mismos. Johnny Knoxville, por ejemplo, tuvo que ir al hospital durante una escena de esta película.
Final thoughts
Even though the Jackass crew is getting old, they can still produce high-quality entertainment full of original and crazy ideas that sometimes most people would consider too extreme.
As a long-term fan of Jackass, I enjoyed this film and I would even like if they continue to make movies as long as they can, however, I did notice my enjoyment of this type of content is decreasing.
The original crew was certainly something special, the same cannot be said about the new additions but I guess it is normal to be fond of people if they have entertained you for several years. I didn't know anything about the new members of the Jackass crew so it was, let's say, "less fun" when they took over the scenes, but I did love when the new fat guy was used as a surfing board 🤣
If you enjoyed Jackass in the past, you should definitely check this film out as it doesn't disappoint you.

A pesar de que el equipo de Jackass está envejeciendo, todavía pueden producir entretenimiento de alta calidad lleno de ideas originales y locas que a veces la mayoría de la gente consideraría demasiado extremas.
Como fanático de Jackass desde hace mucho tiempo, disfruté esta película e incluso me gustaría que siguieran haciendo películas todo el tiempo que pudieran, sin embargo, noté que mi disfrute de este tipo de contenido está disminuyendo.
El equipo original sin duda era algo especial, no se puede decir lo mismo de las nuevas incorporaciones pero supongo que es normal encariñarse con la gente si te han entretenido durante varios años. No sabía nada sobre los nuevos miembros del equipo de Jackass, así que fue, digamos, "menos divertido" cuando asumieron las escenas, pero me encantó cuando el nuevo gordo se usó como tabla de surf 🤣 <br
Si disfrutaste de Jackass en el pasado, definitivamente deberías ver esta película, no te decepcionará.

Ví la broma del abuelo y el nieto y la verdad me sacó carcajadas tremendas jajajaja 🤣. El abuelo sin vergüenza, creo que se llamaba. Las bromas de Jackass son muy duras pero fascinantes, tienes razón en algo, son los que más se golpean las pelotas jajajaja. Solo he visto unas pocas producciones, y no sabía sobre la existencia de este último que sacaron. Sí así mismo creo que se llamaba esa broma xD, estos tipos son extremos y ponen su salud en riesgo muchas veces, yo creo que deben tener un tornillo flojo pero lo cierto es que sus pelis son entretenidas. Cuando veas esta peli espero que la disfrutes bro.

I watched this pretty late too, and beforehand I saw a lot of people complaining about the new members; I really don't think it was that bad. Lacking a bit in some parts, but what more could you expect with their age? Haha. They're brittle and old. They can't be doing the same things they used to with such intensity.
I enjoyed it, it was basically the same stuff as before, just with some of that responsibility placed on some younger people.
Yeah, the OG members aren't the same as when they were younger, but they still continue to be among the craziest people that can be found in well-known films. I will always remember these crazy guys but for their own sake and well-being I hope they don't continue to produce more Jackass films 🤣

Definitivamente este fue un post que hizo recordar muchos buenos momentos cuando lo veía a media noche a escondidas de mi mamá ya que en aquel entonces era una niña como de 8 años 😝 pero le encantaba, luego recuerdo que lo pasaban en adul swing
Hahahahah a mis papás tampoco les gustaba este programa pero a mí me encantaba verlo. Incluso recuerdo otro parecido que se llamaba The Dudesons que también estaba bien loco.
Pero los de Jackass son los locos originales, por eso se ganaron el cariño de tantas personas.

I saw the trailer more than once but I think the level of prank is not that entertaining as it would be when I was younger. Though, for those who love prank shows, this will probably entertaining.

Hola, vi esta película y las anteriores por que mi esposo al igual que tu es fanático de Jackass, pero en realidad nunca me han gustado esas bromas donde se hacen daño (esas no me causan risa) y lo que dices de las bolas tienes razón yo creo que en esté momento ese hombre debe ser estéril.
Por supuesto que en las que no hay daño físico si me dan risa por ejemplo en el abuelo sinvergüenza, conquistando mujeres con ayuda del nieto. Esta broma es tan famosa que hasta una película exclusiva tienen.
Seguiremos disfrutando de estas películas así cierre mis ojos cuando viene una parte donde de seguro alguien va a salir herido jajaja.

Hahahh sí yo también creo que algunos miembros viejos de Jackass deben ser estériles a estas alturas. Y sobre bromas peligrosas, imagínate que en este film hay una broma con un oso y otra con un toro. El loco de Knoxville incluso termina en el hospital en una ocasión 🙃
