LOH #176:What I love about being a woman

As a teenager, i rejected my feminine identity and tried to present as masculine, dressing and acting like a boy. At that age, i saw masculinity as superior and didn't yet understand or appreciate the innate beauty and power of womanhood. However, that perspective shifted as i blossomed into a young woman and gained more life experience.

Certain realities of womanhood initially seemed daunting or even frightening to me - the intense pain of childbirth, the monthly discomforts of menstrual cramps, the hormonal roller coaster, the outdated cultural stigmas and superstitions surrounding female biology. With more knowledge and maturity, i realized these were all natural processes that unveiled the awe-inspiring strengths women possess.

The ability for a woman's body to endure the intense physical rigors of pregnancy and childbirth, while still persisting through her normal daily life during menstruation, is a testament toFormidable fortitude.i grew to see these experiences not as terrifying burdens, but as underrated superpowers that reveal the remarkably resilient feminine spirit.

As i understood womanhood better, i discovered the profound and multifaceted feminine energy of nurturing. When a woman loves, she loves with her whole being - providing unconditional care, empathy, affection and creating a metaphorical "safe haven" for loved ones. While men may be seen as household patriarchs, i recognized that women are the true linchpins holding families together through steady hands-on devotion.

However, i also became acutely aware of the misogynistic attitudes that still linger - the harmful notions that women are fragile, irrational beings in need of repression, control and even exploitation by men for selfish ends. These poisonous views made
Me initially question if embracing womanhood was truly beautiful and empowering .Yet i realized the answer lies in how women possess an innate resilience to overcome adversity, skillfully manage immense burdens, and turn challenging situations into net positives through sheer determination.

My journey led me to a deep appreciation for the brilliant strengths, nurturing wisdom, relentless drive, and compassionate spirits that define the feminine experience. I came to love my womanhood so completely that if presented with the opportunity of reincarnation,i would choose to experience the extraordinary gifts and powers of femininity again without hesitation.

For me, being a woman is about harnessing an inner resilience that flows like a mighty river - powerful enough to shape the course of life itself through pure love, grit and grace. It's an infinite well of divinely-bestowed fortitude that creates, nurtures, and propels all while radiating magnificence. My teenager self may have once rejected the feminine, but my woman's heart now embraces it wholeheartedly as a supreme blessing.
