More than a year ago Jack Dorsey announced that Twitter is going to fund an independent team to develop standards for open-source decentralized social media.

Twitter is funding a small independent team of up to five open source architects, engineers, and designers to develop an open and decentralized standard for social media. The goal is for Twitter to ultimately be a client of this standard. 🧵

Recently the group called @bluesky announced an update on this.

Starting last February, we invited a diverse group of people from different parts of the decentralization community to a virtual forum for collaboration + discussion. They led an inspiring conversation on the purpose bluesky is intended to serve and the directions it can take.

We are continuing to look for a lead, and hope to find one in the coming months. We'd love to hear from people interested in this role, in partnering with us, or if there are ways to improve the ecosystem review we shared above. Our DMs are open!

They managed to produce 61 pages document mentioning blockchain 56 times and Steemit 19 times. Hive isn't mentioned even once! Our governance model is the most revolutionary part here.

I mentioned #HIVE in my comment. Let them know we exist and have a lot of answers!

This seems to be great work! However, sadly I see the #HIVE blockchain missing. At this moment, this is the most decentralized ecosystem on-line. And what you are looking for may already be in place. This is definitely worth adding there, the governance model is revolutionary
