Stress - The Critical Forces - a Deeper Look

What is stress? it really begs the question and indeed I have felt this in my life more than I can count... But what is it really?
Stress from my experience is related to an overwhelming increase in complexity in one's life, such as having too much of something more than one can handle at the time.

Stress is a term for a feeling of emotional or physical tension, which can be two or more forces being in opposition.
In our lives we may feel tension all throughout the day or years, it can be cumulative or not, in this case I have felt a lot of tension in the past couple of years as well, more specifically about whether or not what I study is really for me.

This can be a sign of divided interests or aspects, in other words it can be a sign of divided interests OR conditioned interests in such a way by which the conditioning causes inner disharmony or conflict.

Feeling Stressed can actually be a critical point of that.
Some situations may result in having to make really hard choices, sometimes impossible choices.
Other situations may indicate that we REALLY need to take a look outside our own box and see things differently!

Stress is not to be confused with anxiety, while anxiety can be bundled with stress of course they are not the same "force", at least according to my experience.
Indeed, certain beliefs we hold onto can easily cause our energy to divide and go against itself, in which case it feels like a fight that we can never win,
all it takes for such situations is to temporarily distance and look at it objectively from afar, as though the situation is someone else's, then consider everything and make the appropriate decisions, we are to be decided if we are to go anywhere with those choices.

Stress is not merely a negative, some people will consider stress as positive as well under certain conditions, personally I do not find stress to be productive, the term coined for a productive stress is eustress and something to be discussed on another post, for such stress is not the same and there is an explanation for that and why it could work.
In essence, stress derives from a context, a rule set if you will... if there are too many rules they can cause us to feel a lack of freedom or a metaphorical suffocation.
To avoid such, we always need to leave some space for breather, it takes awareness of the situations and setting up boundaries both for ourselves and others.

Stress does not always have to be caused by outside forces, contrary, it is a mental process which I find being a result of the representative nature we have regarding our reality context.
In essence, I like to explain my idea of how I see it in this way,
Imagine a holographic copy of your reality, everything that happens throughout the day is at the same time being projected in that holographic copy, the mind can Only react and see that holographic copy, the tricky part is that the holographic copy is not an exact replica but a filtered replica, filter by our beliefs (more like considerations or what we consider to be the case).

Without going any further, you may start to see the picture here, the representation of our reality causes us the stress, how we arrange that stuff in our mind is the thing that creates it, reality is much more flexible than that, at least it can be, so it takes some awareness to see those flexible opportunities and realize, hey! there is actually more to it!
(the moment we do that, the mind will open doorways to more possibilities and we will release our stress, at least that's how it happened for me!)

I hope all this helps in some way, of course it is a case by case phenomenon and we are here for educational purposes only, it is important to take our time and assess if external assistance is required by professionals, hopefully not! but even if, it is okay to ask for help!

Thanks for reading so far, I usually make different kinds of material but I thought, why not participate in this monthly theme!

So, I wish you a fantastic rest of the day and safe travels!
