Monomad Challenge - A Windy Morning At The Feeder

I caught this male Northern Cardinal outside my window a few mornings ago! He was enjoying some safflower seeds from the bird feeder.

It was pretty windy though and his feathery crown was being blown about when the wind would blow.

I thought this gust of wind might blow him right off the bird feeder but he just held on tight and continued eating his safflower. Luckily, the sun had come out so he had a nice sunny spot which I would think made the wind a little more tolerable .. that and enjoying some of his favorite seeds! 💖
