Season Hunt Challenge - Fall Landscapes
This is my entry post for the Season Hunt Challenge by @barbara-orenya in the Feel Good Community! This is the sixth week and the theme is Fall Landscapes! You can learn more about the contest and how to enter HERE!
Wow! The weeks seem like they're just flying by! I'll start this week at Cromwell Valley Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. It is a lovely park around this time of year. I had to go into my archives for a lot of my photos since I haven't been able to get out much lately. My photos here at Cromwell Valley Park were taken in November of 2019.
Here is a view at the bottom of a hill which shows a back area of the park. There is a trail that will take you back further but I haven't been back that far yet.
Once I walked up a hill nearby I had a lovely view looking down onto the Autumn trees!
I took the next several photos at Rocks State Park in Harford County, Maryland.
Like the visit in my first photos it was a cloudy day.
I did have a sunny day for my last two photos that I'm showing today! This first of the sunny day photos was taken at Marshy Point in Baltimore County, Maryland.
I took my last photo while at the Big Gunpowder Falls State Park which is in Baltimore County as well. I feel pretty lucky sometimes to have quite a few beautiful places near and close by that I am able to visit when I can. Lately, it hasn't been as often as I would like but I do have a lot of photos that makes me feel like I'm right back there on the day that I visited! 😊

These are lovely fall scenes Dee.💕They are all great and the 5th photo is my favorite with the gold and red of the image. The last two give a nice sunny warmth to me on this chilly morning. 🌞

I simply adore the first photo where the clump of red orange leaves stand in contrast with the green foliage. Those trees at the Rocks State Park have shed most of their leaves and create an eerie and forlorn atmosphere. A bit scary if you ask me if I were walking alone here in the late afternoon. Your photos sure can make the imagination go off 😄

Thanks so much @gems.and.cookies!! It can be scary looking there with the outcrop that has a big drop. I don't think that I will ever go out on it again since I'm pretty sure that I figured out I have a fear of heights from going out there. It is a very beautiful area though with some not so high places too. Good luck to you as well and have a lovely evening!! 💖

a nit envy that you still have autumn like this - not the Indian, but, still... and at our place it is nothing but snow. happily, it did not turn into wet and dirt yet (which is imminent in my place!)

Thanks so much @qwerrie!! I find it hard to keep up sometimes. We are suppose to get some snow this week but the ground is warm so it probably won't stick for long. I'm already looking forward to Spring! Have a beautiful week ahead! 💖

Seriously, I'd just like to hibernate and wake up when Winter is over. I don't handle Winter and Summer very well although I love them too if that makes sense! Hee, hee, I just came from your beautiful post! 🙂
