MACROPHOTOGRAPHY | BEAUTY OF WEEVILS
Hello hive friend, how are you today. I hope today is being gratefull day.
On this occasion I wanted to share some photos of wedges, which I found on a guava tree. Weevils are a pest for all vegetation, they will hinder growth and damage the plants by eating young leaves and new growing leaves. Weevils themselves are found in thick foliage because they need a place to hide from predators. The insect is a little difficult to find because of its tiny size and great pleasure hiding behind lush leaves and even hiding holes in the trees.
Weevils have beetles in common form, only they have tiny shapes and have white all over them. Interestingly, when they land on green leaves, their color will be quite different from the color surrounding leaves, which makes them a little easier to find when we look carefully for them. These wedges were full of furs all over his body that kept them from soaking wet when the water splashed. Actually they have wings, but their wings are protected by Elytra that protect their wings, if they need to, they simply release the Elytra and flap their wings.
In the shot, I had some obstacles regarding the agle and the position of the weagle. Besides, they're very sensitive insects with motion around them, which makes the shooting a little time-consuming. Like beetles in general, they fly away quickly when there are both humans and other predators who try to approach them. However, this time I was able to get some photos of the wedges with a strong effort.

So, that was a my firs picture about Weevils . It's little bit hard to capture them, but with passion and hard effort, i can take a view picture about them. I hope you enjoy it.
