In this post I will show you some photos of planthoppers, which I found in my garden. They bask in the leaves, and they are the pests that farmers fear the most. They become pests for the whole plant, be it flowers or fruits. Planthoppers appear a lot in the summer, therefore, usually farmers will eradicate them with pesticides during these seasons. The planthopper itself is an animal with a super small size and hard to find, they also usually hide behind leaves and other plant parts to protect themselves from predators.

Leafhoppers are almost microscopic in size, they are even smaller than flies, which makes them a bit difficult to find. With their size like that, they often become soft food for various predatory insects such as Mantis, Spiders, and others. Planthoppers have a unique color when viewed closely, they have a color similar to a mosaic with various colors, generally consisting of dark colors such as red, black, orange and brown. This is what makes them look beautiful when viewed up close. They are one of those insects that only have four times which they use to perch on any surface. What stands out the most about them is their body shape which is larger towards the back due to their wings. This body shape makes them very easy to recognize.

To get a photo of them is a little difficult because of their very small size. I have to provide a magnifying glass or Macro Lens so that I can distinguish them from flies. They are also very sensitive insects, they will immediately move away when someone tries to approach them. Therefore the process of taking pictures takes a long time. However, with hard work and patience, I managed to get photos of them from various sides, if you want to see them, please check the photos below.

Lovely post @deimage I love how detailed your post was and how dedicated you were to getting this images even though it was very stressful for you.

You write very well too, you should consider writing on different other topics aside from photography.

Oh...
I often post Photography here, and I myself am a Photographer, I rarely post anything other than Photography.
But there might be some tweaking during this change, I can tolerate that and I'll try to adjust it. Thanks for the guidance.
