WOOD MUSHROOM GROW AT THE WOODEN WINDOW FRAME

Hello everyone and happy Friday for all of you...

This my contributions to #FungiFriday challenge by @ewkaw in Fungi Friday Community

This Friday, I will make a Fungi Friday post as usual and in this post, I found a very unique type of mushroom, not only the color and shape but the place where it grows is one of the most unique for me.
I don't know whether this mushroom is poisonous or not, but what I know is that the mushrooms that grow on weathered and damp wood surfaces are usually most of them poisonous.

What makes it interesting for me to discuss it is because these mushrooms have a very unique place to grow, they grow on the window frames of the house and the frames are made of wood. This wooden frame grows wood fungus in one part because it is damp and during the rainy season, this window is often wet because of rainwater that sprays and therefore humidity occurs and the wood of this window frame also grows fungus. This fungus will of course make the window wood weathered and lose its hard texture, and this is the result that will arise which will destroy the wooden texture of the window frame.

As for its shape, this mushroom has a simple shape, which consists of a stem and a canopy-like surface. This mushroom is not too soft and a little dense, its canopy looks flat and its stems are fairly short. This fungus has an orange to light brown color, and usually grows on damp wood surfaces and is often exposed to water and getting wet.

These mushrooms don't grow in piles, they grow individually and don't look much. They usually spread from one place to another, but the number of mushrooms in one place is not that many and can be counted. You can see how they grow on the wooden surface of the window frame and the texture of the wood changes and changes slightly. This fungus usually doesn't last long, once the conditions or the weather gets hot and not humid, they will immediately dry up within a few days, and will grow back in the same place if the surface of the window becomes damp again.

So, here are the Wood Mushrooms that I can feature in this #FungiFriday post, hope you like it and see you in the next post.
