hi dear hivers! I want to share you a new drawing I did inspired by Greek mythology.
The ancient greek used to paint scenes about mythology and daily life in amphorae and vessels, using these orange and black figures, I love this art style and it can work so well using vectors!

¡Hola queridos hivers! Les quiero compartir un nuevo dibujo que hice inspirado en la mitología griega.
Los antiguos griegos solían pintar escenas sobre la mitología y la vida cotidiana en ánforas y vasijas, usando estas figuras naranjas y negras. ¡Me encanta este estilo de arte y puede funcionar tan bien usando vectores!

So I will draw in Illustrator the myth of Icarus. In the myth, Icarus was the son of the great inventor Daedalus, together they built wings waxing feathers, and they escape from their imprisonment flying, but Icarus was too proud and young, and he flew too close to the sun, so the wings melted, and he fell and died. It is a tale about how the youngers are sometimes too careless because of their inexperience and arrogance.
I started the drawing with the body.

Así que dibujaré en Illustrator el mito de Ícaro. En el mito, Ícaro era el hijo del gran inventor Dédalo, juntos construyeron alas pegando plumas, y escapan de su encarcelamiento volando, pero Ícaro era demasiado orgulloso y joven, y volaba demasiado cerca del sol, por lo que las alas se derritieron, y cayó y murió. Es una historia sobre cómo los jóvenes a veces son demasiado descuidados debido a su inexperiencia y arrogancia.
Empecé el dibujo con el cuerpo.
