[ESP/ENG] Pesebre navideño | Christmas nativity scene

Hola a todos, cada vez más se acerca la navidad, (aunque siento que fue hace unos días navidad, el tiempo pasa muy rápido) es por ello que en la escuela primaria donde estudian mis hermanos anunciaron que cada estudiante tendría que realizar alguna decoración alusiva a la navidad para los salones, hechos con materiales reciclados y cosas que se tuvieran en casa, como tengo dos hermanos y son muy pequeños, mi mamá me pidió el favor para que le ayudara a completar el trabajo dentro del tiempo establecido, un solo fin de semana para realizar dos proyectos, mi mamá es una persona muy creativa y se le ocurrió que una idea de decoración podría ser un enanito navideño y el otro un pesebre, nos dividimos el trabajo, así que ahora ella se iba a encargar por completo de la realización del enanito navideño y yo del pesebre siguiendo sus explicaciones para que su idea se plasmara de la mejor manera posible.

Hello everyone, Christmas is getting closer and closer, (although I feel that it was a few days ago Christmas, time goes by very fast) that's why in the elementary school where my brothers study they announced that each student would have to make some decoration allusive to Christmas for the classrooms, made with recycled materials and things that they had at home, as I have two brothers and they are very small, my mom asked me the favor to help her to complete the work within the established time, a single weekend to do two projects, my mom is a very creative person and it occurred to her that one decoration idea could be a Christmas dwarf and the other a nativity scene, we divided the work, so now she was going to be completely in charge of the Christmas dwarf and I of the nativity scene following her explanations so that her idea would take shape in the best possible way.

Lo primero que se tuvo que hacer fue buscar por toda la casa, cosas que pudiesen funcionar, entre la búsqueda encontré algunos retazos de telas que tenía, ya que mi tía es costurera y antes de emigrar del país regaló entre familiares y amigos que quisieran algunos trozos de tela, cartón, pinturas e incluso algunos elementos naturales, entre otras cosas que vi que podrían servir y complementar a la perfección el proyecto. Tenía que empezar a trabajar lo antes posible, ya que tenía que hacer todo en dos días y habían muchos elementos que se tenían que secar, sin contar que recientemente han habido múltiples fallas eléctricas por todas las zonas del Estado, en el cual, yo resido y se ha estado implementando un racionamiento llamado “8x8” que básicamente consiste en que va a ver una secuencia o patrón de ocho horas con energía eléctrica y ocho horas sin la misma y así sucesivamente, menciono todo esto porque con el tiempo que tenía me retrasé un poco, ya que además, en esta época del año la luz natural comienza a desaparecer a tempranas horas de la tarde así que las horas que de verdad pude trabajar fueron limitadas, pero el lado positivo fue que como la idea estaba muy clara y las técnicas para elaborar esta manualidad son bastante básicas hicieron que este proyecto fuese algo sencillo de realizar, pero con un hermoso resultado final en mi opinión personal. Creo que es importante mencionar que en dado caso de querer realizar este pesebre no es necesario tener exactamente los mismos materiales, fomento que se utilicen cosas que se tengan por la casa o la mano y usar la creatividad individual.

The first thing to do was to look around the house for things that could work, among the search I found some scraps of fabrics that I had, since my aunt is a seamstress and before emigrating from the country she gave some pieces of fabric, cardboard, paints and even some natural elements, among other things that I saw that could serve and perfectly complement the project. I had to start working as soon as possible, since I had to do everything in two days and there were many elements that had to be dried, not to mention that recently there have been multiple power failures in all areas of the state, in which I live and has been implementing a rationing called "8x8" which basically consists of a sequence or pattern of eight hours with power and eight hours without it and so on, I mention all this because with the time I had I was a little late,and also, at this time of the year the natural light begins to disappear in the early afternoon so the hours that I could really work were limited, but the positive side was that as the idea was very clear and the techniques to make this craft are quite basic made this project something simple to do, but with a beautiful end result in my personal opinion. I think it is important to mention that in case you want to make this nativity scene it is not necessary to have exactly the same materials, I encourage you to use things that you have at home or by hand and use your individual creativity.

Materiales:

-Cartón.

-Cinta adhesiva.

-Cintas decorativas.

-Telas (en mi caso utilicé siete retazos de telas diferentes para las cabezas de los muñequitos y los trajes de cada uno).

-Lana de color marrón oscuro y marrón claro.

-Tres pedacitos de madera.

-Vela.

-Algodón antialérgico.

-Pintura verde (para la base del pesebre).

-Pintura marrón (para pintar el portal; en mi caso yo no tenía pintura marrón, así que mezclé vino tinto, negro y ocre hasta que me quedó el color que necesitaba).

-Musgo.

-Piñas de pino.

-Una lámina cuadrada de poliestireno expandido.

-Pegamento en barra.

-Silicón frío.

-Hilo nylon delgado transparente (para coser).

-Cuatro cuentas pequeñas negras y dos cuentas alargadas azules.

Materials:

-Cardboard.

-Adhesive tape.

-Decorative ribbons.

-Fabrics (in my case I used seven different fabric scraps for the heads of the dolls and the costumes of each one).

-Dark brown and light brown wool.

-Three pieces of wood.

-Candle.

-Anti-allergic cotton.

-Green paint (for the base of the crib).

-Brown paint (to paint the portal; in my case I didn't have brown paint, so I mixed red wine, black and ochre until I got the color I needed).

-Moss.

-Pine cones.

-A square sheet of expanded polystyrene.

-Glue stick.

-Cold silicone.

-Thin transparent nylon thread (for sewing).

-Four small black beads and two blue elongated beads.

Pasos para hacer el pesebre:

Steps to make the nativity scene:

1._ Para realizar el portal debemos cortar cuatro piezas de cartón siguiendo las figuras y dobleces que se demuestra en la imagen, asegurándonos de que de que el tamaño sea el deseado y las piezas encajen entre sí perfectamente antes de pegarlas definitivamente.

1._ To make the portal we must cut four pieces of cardboard following the figures and folds shown in the image, making sure that the size is as desired and that the pieces fit together perfectly before gluing them together.

2._ Pintar todas las piezas del portal con pintura marrón.

2._ Paint all parts of the portal with brown paint.

3._ Pegar las piezas del portal con silicón frío.

4._ Pintar la lámina de poliestireno expandido con pintura verde y pegarle con pega en barra el musgo por toda la superficie.

5._ Con tela de color beige claro cortar tres círculos de diferentes tamaños uno grande, uno mediano, y otro pequeño, coserlo por todo el alrededor y rellenar con el algodón antialérgico para así formar tres esferas.

6._ En dos esferas coser dos cuentas pequeñas negras y en la esfera pequeña coser dos cuentas largas en forma horizontal.

7._ En la esfera más grande coser al frente de la cara, debajo de los ojos una barba y bigote con la lana de color marrón oscuro, luego, coser en la parte de arriba lana más larga para crear el efecto del cabello.

8._ Coser en la esfera mediana con lana marrón claro en la parte de arriba de los ojos para crear el cabello de la Virgen María, y con el mismo color de lana coser el cabello del Niño Jesús.

9._ Con cartón realizar unos conos para formar el cuerpo de las tres figuras como se demuestra en la imagen y pegarlas con cinta adhesiva.

10._ Forrar los cuerpos con sus respectivas telas y pegarlas con silicón frío.

14._ En una esquina pegar una pequeña vela y rodearla con un poco más de musgo.
