21 IS COMING!!!

Last night I went to bed in a very bad mood after news broke that Ronaldo was negotiating a contract with Manchester City to move back to the Premier League.

It was set up so perfectly. Manchester City needed a striker after they failed to get Harry Kane and they also had the money to do the deal. Twitter was going into melt down with United fans calling Ronaldo a snake and people 'confessing' that Lionel Messi was the real GOAT!

Fans were heartbroken at the prospect of seeing one of their biggest talents and legends shifting allegiances to their noisy neighbours.

At the moment, Man City are considered favourites for the Premier League title.

Adding Ronaldo to their expressive attack would have been the nail in the coffin for every other top four team's hopes that this season was going to be more competitive.

The Tide Changes.

A few hours ago, a quote from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's interview caught my eye.

“Cristiano Ronaldo? We’ve always had a good communication. Bruno has been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. If he was ever going to move away from Juventus, he knows we are here.” ~ Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

This was the little bit of straw that I was clinging on to as I was drowning.

Moments later, the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano announced that City had dropped their interest in Ronaldo and that United were now front runners.

I couldn't believe it.

How did the tide turn so fast?

If I was to speculate, Man City probably realised that Man United was Ronaldo's first choice and it would leave them with egg on their face if they persisted and been rejected at the end. That is why they pulled the plug that quickly. It wasn't about money.

Closing Thoughts

With all the bubbly emotions of people reliving their childhood memories, those who were lucky enough to watch Ronaldo in his youth at Old Trafford, nobody has stopped to ask themselves how Ole will set up his starting 11.

Who goes where? Does Ronaldo play as the number 9? What happens to Cavani? Does Cavani lose his number 7 shirt? What happens to Martial whose days are numbered at the club?

This signing is one whose effect has ramifications across the entire squad. Some Manchester United careers have come to an end with Ronaldo's arrival.

However, when Ronaldo debuts for his second stint at Manchester United, all that will not matter.

What people will want to know is, can he give us the kick that we need to finally win the title?

The only place good for him is Manchester united. This is where he came to lime light. This is the time to give back to the club. Manchester city isn't the right place now.
I will talk to him. Don't worry yourself

Haha. He is already here.
All we need is a DM and I think we are winning the league!

As a Manchester United fan I was really happy when I had the news that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Manchester United on a two years deal I never believed it at first because all I've read from the internet was that Cristiano Ronaldo is about joining Manchester city and all of a sudden it turns out to be Manchester United I can't express my happiness at least this will put a lot more danger in Manchester United up front I mean striker with what Martial is doing I think this signing is one of the best signing this season that's a very good one for Manchester United and I hope they will make very good use of it

It was very depressing hearing he could potentially go to City. He could be a major piece in helping us finally win a trophy.
