Feliz noche amigos de lifestyle está noche quiero compartir con ustedes una actividad que hice hace un par de semanas en el sambil, y es que yo manejo la cuenta de Instagram de mi emprendimiento y la verdad quiero mejorar todo lo que se pueda así que fui a un taller donde incluía un poco de oratoria, tips para mejorar las ventas y además un delicioso cóctel.

Good evening, Lifestyle friends! Tonight, I want to share an activity I took part in a couple of weeks ago at Sambil. I manage the Instagram account for my small business and really want to improve it as much as possible, so I attended a workshop that covered public speaking and sales tips plus, it included a delicious cocktail.

Además que en el Sambil ya se habían venido haciendo varias actividades los jueves dónde no había podido participar. Pero este día tuve suerte además, que quería participar pues la que dictaba el taller es una prima y quería ir. Así que está semana tuvimos suerte y con una de mis mejores amigas pudimos ir. Llevamos temprano y pudimos saludar a mi prima antes de que todo empezará y hablar un rato. Ya que tenía bastante tiempo sin verla.

On top of that, various activities had already been taking place at Sambil on Thursdays—events I hadn't been able to attend. But I got lucky this time; I really wanted to participate because the person leading the workshop is a cousin of mine, and I wanted to go. So, we were in luck this week, and I was able to go with one of my best friends. We arrived early, so we could say hello to my cousin and chat for a while before everything started, since it had been quite some time since I’d seen her.

Al llegar al evento verificaron que mi amiga y yo estuviéramos en la lista. Una vez nos verificaron nos sentamos y en cada puesto había un pequeño obsequio. Que nos pidieron que abrieramos en casa. Luego para comenzar el taller nos trajeron un cóctel que la verdad estaba delicioso y dieron comienzo a este taller donde nos ayudaron un poco a qué hagamos crecer nuestras redes sociales.

Upon arriving at the event, they checked to ensure my friend and I were on the list. Once we were checked in, we took our seats; there was a small gift at each place setting that we were asked to open at home. To kick off the workshop, we were served a cocktail which was truly delicious and the session began, offering us some guidance on how to grow our social media presence.

El taller estuvo maravilloso, mi prima es profesora de oratoria, conductora de radio, y hace muchas publicidades a lugares como el sambil, mr price y Toyota entre otros. Así que nos dió muchos tips. Hicimos algunos ejercicios, a mi por ejemplo me tocó hablar por micrófono y decir cuales son mis red flags en mi emprendimiento... Tengo como tarea tratar de hacer historias en Instagram hablando.

The workshop was wonderful. My cousin is a public speaking instructor and radio host, and she does a lot of commercials for places like Sambil, Mr. Price, and Toyota, among others, so she gave us plenty of tips. We did a few exercises; for instance, I had to speak into a microphone and talk about the "red flags" in my business... My assignment now is to try posting Instagram Stories where I speak on camera.

Luego de que el taller terminara ella se sentó un rato en la mesa donde mi mejor amiga y yo estábamos y estuvimos hablando un buen rato de todo un poco. También probó un postre que yo había llevado y sin saber es de sus postres favoritos.

After the workshop ended, she sat for a while at the table where my best friend and I were, and we chatted for quite some time about a bit of everything. She also tried a dessert I had brought, and unbeknownst to me it turned out to be one of her favorites.
