Feliz noche amigos, ayer comenté un poco de como va la situación de mi mamá y que estaba un poco más tranquila. Hoy sigo tranquila aunque los planes hoy cambiaron radicalmente y es que una prima que está fuera del país ha una dicho que se haría responsable de el pago de la clínica de la operación de mi mamá. Pero hoy me dijo que no podía así que los planes cambiaron drásticamente pero aún así seguimos confiando en Dios y que sus tiempos son perfectos. Hoy nos levantamos temprano ya que debíamos ir a u a cita médica.

Good evening, friends. Yesterday I mentioned a little about how my mom's situation is going and that she was a bit calmer. Today I remain calm, although plans have changed radically because a cousin who is out of the country has said she would take responsibility for paying for my mother's surgery at the clinic. But today she told me she couldn't, so our plans changed completely. Even so, we continue to trust in God and that His timing is perfect. Today we got up early because we had a doctor's appointment.

Al llegar a la clínica lo primero que hice fue pasar por el laboratorio, ya que ayer ni mamá se hizo una serie de exámenes que pidió el oncólogo, entre estos exámenes estaban los marcadores tumorales. Las chicas del laboratorio siempre nos tratan con mucho cariño y nos han apoyado en este tiempo tan difícil.

When I arrived at the clinic, the first thing I did was go to the lab, since my mom had a series of tests done yesterday that the oncologist ordered, including tumor markers. The lab staff always treat us with great kindness and have been a great support during this difficult time.

Nuestra cita con el cardiólogo era a las 9 de la mañana pero el tuvo una emergencia así que tuvimos que esperar un poco más y por supuesto siempre aprovecharé de tomarle fotos lindas con mi mamá y de obligarla a sonreír para las fotos. Aunque nuestros días no siempre son fáciles estamos tratando de tomar nuestros días de la mejor manera posible y sobre todo de confiar en como se van dando las cosas.

Our appointment with the cardiologist was at 9 a.m., but he had an emergency, so we had to wait a little longer. Of course, I always take advantage of the time to take cute pictures of my mom and make her smile for the photos. Although our days aren't always easy, we're trying to make the best of them and, above all, trust how things unfold.

Finalmente pudimos pasar a la consulta con el cardiólogo y es que hoy íbamos a la evaluación cardiovascular y dónde le hacen el electrocardiograma y gracias a Dios esto salió muy bien y en esta oportunidad no tuvo arritmias. Y los exámenes de sangre salieron bastante bien. El doctor también hablo mucho con mi mamá y le dijo que debemos tener mucha fé que todo va a salir bien.

We were finally able to go to the cardiologist appointment. Today was our cardiovascular evaluation, where they do the electrocardiogram, and thank God it went very well; this time there were no arrhythmias. The blood tests also came back quite good. The doctor also talked a lot with my mom and told her that we should have faith that everything will be alright.

Luego de salir de la consulta era la hora del almuerzo así que le compramos el almuerzo a mi mamá ya que ella debe comer a sus horas. Luego de camino a casa iba procesando toda la información y es que estaba bastante confiada de que la operación sería pronto y en la clínica y ya no. Entonces hay que ir al hospital a ver qué podemos lograr y además debemos movernos ya que mientras más nos tardamos la hemoglobina de mi mamá vuelve a bajar y se descompensa nuevamente.

After leaving the doctor's office, it was lunchtime, so we bought lunch for my mom since she needs to eat on time. On the way home, I was processing all the information. I had been quite confident that the surgery would be soon and at the clinic, but now it wasn't. So we have to go to the hospital to see what we can do, and we also need to act quickly because the longer we wait, the lower my mom's hemoglobin will get and she'll become unstable again.
