Change of Direction: "Quality Content" and a Shameless Plug (Not for ME!)

I'm taking a quick break from my own blogging circus to "put in a good word" for someone else's:

Mrs. Denmarkguy, aka @cosmictriage, has recently returned to Hive after a lengthy absence and has started blogging again, after an even longer absence... from blogging that is.

Yes, I know we get lots people here, and I know we have more than a few "Hive couples" here, but I promise there's something much deeper than a case of nepotism behind this post!

"The Marketing Geeks" often talk about how we need more people "of influence" in this community, so here's one for you... from among our own ranks.

As I said, @cosmictriage is blogging after a long (semi)absence from that particular corner of social media.

Both of us "cut our teeth" in the blogosphere during the earliest days of this gig, in the late 1990's and early 00's. Big deal?

She, however, became a much more significant "someone" than I ever was.

In fact, CNN ranked hers among the "Top 10 blogs in the US" for a while.

Of course, I may be (just a little bit) biased, but she is still one of the best writers out there, especially when it comes to cuts-to-the-bone commentary on life and the nature of the human experience.

You owe it to yourself to go read her most recent post and give her a follow. But don't take my word for it... experience it for yourself!

You might be given to wonder why you have not heard of her before... well, because these days she dedicates a lot more of her life to drawing attention to the successes and triumphs of others, rather than herself.

I'm not sure she ever even got a proper "Hive welcome," so maybe we can offer up a slightly "after the fact" one, now!

We now return to our regularly scheduled content...
