CONTENT VALUE: MONETIZING WORDS AND LETTERS!

What is value? According to the OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY, it is "the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something."

Value is important in our everyday lives. What is that thing that you can not do without? Whatever it is we attach great value to it. Value doesn't only speak of things we see everyday but also of things we haven't seen.

One great way of adding value is creating something the world didn't think they needed. It's being totally irreplaceable. I can think of a number of people who've added value to our lives as a whole. Infact, they are half way to stopping world hunger. Impossible? Maybe but their worth and weight is something we can't deny. I bet as you're reading this your mind is entirely on one person. Say it! Sa...tooooo...shiiiii!

Value isn't just a word, it's an art. An act of acknowledgement and a simple language that communicates more than just letters or definition. It goes beyond our needs and limits. Value is forever desired in every part of the world. Give me $1,000 and I'm $1000 richer. Added value.

Well now, this brings me back to my topic and thought for the weekend. How can I add value? What is it that I can do to give more? In what way am I being relevant?

To be very honest, I'm still a noob and I can't help but feel undeserving sometimes when I see those numerous votes. I get that I contribute with content but is that all?

When I look around me and see the devs team coming up with new ways to make Hive better, I can't help but feel a little jealous. This makes me question why I was never interested in computer science. While it's not everyone who's blessed to give in certain ways, I just feel like there's more I can do. I'm sure someone also feels that way. Let me know in the comment.

There are lots of places my mind travels to when on Hive, especially Leofinance. I read posts but my mind seems to play a movie in really slow motion.

For the weekend, I kept asking myself, what's the value I bring? Now I'm talking content. Just like a manufacturer who's identity is in his produce, my heart seems to be in my content as well.

Well, I came to a decision. I'm supposed to be doing my I.T this semester and well, like they say do not put your eggs in one basket. I applied to a digital marketing company and a Printing Press. I know my passion is writing so why not take this to a new level?

Oh no! I'm not going to be a journalist. They offer internships and training in other niches of writing; blogging, vlogging and social media management. One's in my city and the other is off. This seems like a great opportunity for me to learn more and perhaps go professional. I've always loved working inside my house. I don't like having to leave the four walls of my place.

If I can do that for the rest of my life, still adding value to people around me then why not? I'm pretty good at writing. Not the best but my creativity isn't novice. So when talking about value, why can't I show papers for mine?

I still hope to find other things I'm passionate about though. I want to monetize as many things as possible that way I can go ahead and join the N.G.O movement. It's really a blessing how Hive can readily put the $ on your content. In a few years from now, I see letters and sentences taking the market space. I mean Twitter King started that by selling the first ever NFT tweet. So I'm going to start real early.
